Punch that laser, Supes
No bluray release tho
I have amigo.
I really wish the Warner Archive would properly restore and release them on blu-ray though.
Sorry, I'm post-good cartoons core. Only watching bad cartoons is very "in" right now.
how is it that artwork and animation from the 40's is better than todays? from the 2000's and on wards nothing seems to compare to it. it feels like good cinematography and lighting which you see in good films.

As tempted as I am to thump my chest about American hand animation, the truth is they had an insane budget.
I wish they brought this villain back.
Feels like he could be interesting.
superman is outdated trash though
sure, where is the mega?
Go get shot by a teenager at a riot faggot
I genuinely believe that animation has gone the way of the marble sculpture. To complex an art, to expensive a production, and no one alive left to teach it. The era of the world wars bred within our ancestors a certain gumption and ingenuity necessary for truly artful creation that is simply not present within us now. All the good shit has been made, and the circumstances surrounding them may never be recreated. Idea rot is real, and because of this all we are presently capable of producing are derivatives of derivatives.
die capeshitter
Superman beat up Godzilla before he was a thing.
>and no one alive left to teach it.
Doesn't help that Zig Forums doesn't seem to try archiving any knowledge or techniques in the slightest
God seeing this brings back memories, I remember when my dad used to rent these for me at the grocery store.
I'm surprised Thunderbean hasn't done any of the Superman cartoons for their PD sets, but I guess it's just a matter of whether they can get ahold of any prints.
I think DC Universe has them in 1080p. Haven't been able to find a WEB-DL for them though.
It sure was fun watching it on Amazon Prime and then DCUniverse.
Superman has too many mad scientist villains
why? when can just let AI do the drawing better than any artists
Repeat that in proper English
>white boomer power fantasy shit
Hard pass

When I was a poor kid with no cable, I had 3 VHS' of cape media.
One was Batman The Animated Series with Almost Got 'Im
One was a few of John Wesley Shipp's Flash episodes.
One was 6 episodes of Fleischer Superman.
>Superman is straight
If you don't count his Bat-husband.
>Superman is white
If you discount the immigrant narrative that is the core of his being.
Why the fuck is the animation so smooth and nice looking compared to today?
Also it's kino as fuck with him punching the laser for some reason
because the fleishers had unlimited budget works, and the animators were actually taught how to animate
Link all 17 of them if you want us to watch them. I aint lookin this up myself what with all the superman indexed on the internet.
This is like peak Superman moment for me, not gonna lie. It's a great looking scene and cool as fuck.
>the immigrant narrative that is the core of his being
Irish were technically immigrants but nobody gives them special treatment
