If A:TLA had everything stay the same but took place on the moon instead of earth, would it still be earth bending?

Versus other elements, is air the weakest? Water beats earth and fire, earth beats fire, but air fuels fire. What does air do?

Actually, that COULD work. gale force winds would be a direct attack to the bender. So even if air is at a direct deficit against other elemtns, against people it's up there. Silent, deadly, effective.

That is, try breathing or seeing or moving in high wind. Shit is next to impossible. A skilled earth bender would probably be fine, but the air would push any fire and water back.

If you could control air molecules you could do anything from accelerating of time in a controlled environment to creating a tornado on someone's house. Destroying the air nomads was a mistake because now there's nothing keeping them peaceful in universe.

That's a pretty big if. The chances of an airbender being able to do that are slim since Zaheer was apparently the first one to do even flying and oxygen manipulation out of all other airbenders, iirc.
But it's neat to think about air might be completely broken if you had a strong enough bender, otherwise it seems like it'd be an extremely specialized against the opponent themselves. Like, air-bender equalists? Damn.

That is only counting post 100 year genocide history and probably a couple hundred years of upside down temples. Aang could fly too in his fight with Oozai and I'm sure any air bender could deprive someone oxygen.

Air is more peaceful and is for helping others/providing buffs to other elements but it can do damage through air blades

These interpretations of "well TECHNICALLY you can manipulate MOLECULES and ATOMS individually" are always so cringy.

Korra isn't a specialist on water bending tho and blood bending is also very hard to master
