>"I didn’t like and I don’t like Barry being able to move people. I know a lot of people loved that aspect of it, I just don’t. And it’s fine, I think it’s cool when people do, but I just don’t. It goes against physics to be able to have... If you grab someone, and you can say they’re protected by the Speed Force, but that’s, you know, up to interpretation. I feel like if you grab someone at the speed he’s moving, you can just, like, literally just tear their arm out of its socket. He’s moving so fast it would just literally peel the flesh off of somebody’s body, so he’s gotta be super-careful with humans inside of the Speed Force. So I won't have any of that."
He did destroy things every time he used this power in the movies At least he won't be a qucksilver rippoff and has to be smart in saving people
Carter Thomas
Even if I don't agree, it's encouraging he has a perspective on such a thing, and has taken a position. More than most capeshit directors can be asked to do.
Dominic Cruz
>It goes against physics ITS THE FUCKING SPEED FORCE YOU STUPID FUCK! God Snyder REALLY doesn’t get comics
Oliver Williams
>More than most capeshit directors can be asked to do.
Bullshit and you know it.
Lucas Miller
He is not exactly wrong. Speed force is bullshit like that.
I don’t think Zack has imagination. Explains the Grey filters. He’s genuinely autistic
Eli Rodriguez
>It goes against physics Hahaha, does he even Speedforce?
Blake Wilson
and yet he has Superman and Batman fighting Doomsday and they don't get a single scratch even on their costumes
Jaxson Ward
>I don’t like Barry being able to move people, but he does save Iris in my version
Zachary Robinson
>It goes against physics to be able to have >someone run so fast they go back in time Gee Snyder, I guess I have to agree. The Flash really just is unrealistic and shouldn't be in this movie where a graphics card box art comes down from space to steal three magic boxes so he can turn the planet into a hellworld. You've convinced me.
>Jason Mamoa making dolphin clicks to communicate the danger that's coming We were robbed.
Luke Garcia
Aren't superheroes supposed to save peoples?
James Ward
This is why Nolan was wrong. You can't handle these characters with realism gloves 100% of the time, they're not made for that.
Blake Wright
I think he's just really hung up on the idea that he's making serious films with these super hero properties. All of these reeks of incredibly basic "super heroes as they are in comics are unrealistic, so here's how it would actually work in real life." Which is of course complete, utter nonsense because the whole concept of superheroes and most of their powers is totally ridiculous. You can't go half way with these measures, trying to figure out which parts to keep and which parts need fit reality.
All depends on how much hand-waving BS you think the audience can put up with. Cape comics demand a _lot_ of "suspension of disbelief" but there are degrees even within the genre. At the low end "villains shoot 1000 bullets at Batman and they all miss" all the way up to "Superman sneezes and extinguishes a sun". I recall one Flash writer (William Messner-Loebs, I think) who, upon taking over, stated right up front that running faster than light was out. Things were going to be at least semi-plausible. Barry's limit was going to be maybe a few times faster than sound. Of course, this was before they began invoking the Speed Force as a "it's magic and I don't gotta explain nothing" catch-all.
Lucas Foster
>it goes against physics Erm Zach... you had a troll monster made from a pool of orange liquid from an alien ship to fight a man who could fly and shoot lasers. I think physics went out the window a long time ago. This man is a horrible influence on the industry.
Connor Campbell
lmao Snyder always know how to make comic book nerds seethe
Aaron Thomas
based snyder always making people angry with his terrible movies haha
