Which of these are the worst cartoon finales aside from Cleaved?
WORST CARTOON FINALE (ASIDE FROM CLEAVED)
It's a tie between adventure time and gumball
Voltron’s
>WORST1.png
This implies the existence of a WORST2.png
spill the beans, OP
Adventure Time
>no Star vs.
That would've won inmediatly, I'll choose AT
I really hated how closely this aped Gurren Lagann's ending.
And don't try to convince me Genndy hasn't seen it. He's a huge weeb.
Gumball was ruined because the retards thought they'd get a movie deal to wrap it up.
The final season of Voltron was so bad it killed my interest in ever rewatching the show, and I liked all the previous seasons.
The Teen Titans one was good, though.
In terms of living up to expectations? Avatar. Just on the sheer fact that almost everything else in that show was executed perfectly.
Nah
AT takes the cake
Steven Universe, buy far the worst of them.
What is this?
Transformers Season 4.
It (kind of?) ties in with the headmasters installment and hints on scorpinok's eventual rise to power and leadership of the deceptions
Adventure Time
The We Bare Bears movie is easily the worst. Unless you disqualify it for having a movie instead of a series of episodes. These episodes keep the basic pattern of the series, but the WBB movie leans on an old concept that the series had worked against, threw out the most enjoyable aspects while focusing on the very impression anyone could have of the show, making it true and then doubling down. Really sad to see it go like that.
>The Inquisition
>bad
Absolutely filtered.
Yeah...
>fine
ATLA, Gumball
>shit
AT
>rushed
TT
>shit and rushed
SU
>don't know because i didn't watch the show
Chowder
i remember him hooking up with panini was played for laughs and that's about it
>that line
Did the writers even realize how overplayed the "friends split up" trope of movies are? And even if they were going to do it, it feels so OOC to even imagine any of them saying that.
Just saying this as someone who hasn't seen the movie yet
fuck Zig Forums, it was kino
atla's finale was an asspull but not bad.
i would have made an extra 2 episode of aang researching a non lethal way to defeat ozai instead of useless episodes like "the painted lady".
They made a joke about that within the series. In the movie it has more weight because it's supposed to be mounting frustration for Panda... but it doesn't even feel warranted. Grizz as the leader often makes conflict, but it's not often that it's only him causing trouble. Panda is acting like he's the innocent straightman to a series about Grizz's schemes and shenanigans, but that's not really the show's formula. It's just a mess.
>TT and TAWOG: Ended on a cliffhanger because creators were stupid enough to think that "because my show is popular we will get a another season/movie"
>AT and SU: Both rushed to hell and back, one because of the expectation of another season, and the other because of wasting time with filler to barely do anything with the interesting plotlines
Honestly gumball has to be up there, because at least TT didn't end on a huge cliffhanger, unlike gumball.
Out of the options in the image I'd go with Adventure Time thought none of these endings ruin the show/characters for me the way Cleaved did.
It was dogshit. You mean to tell me Jack never once considered the fact that going back to the past would erase everything that happened after? So dumb.
Didn't even use the right image for Gumball's finale baka.
Has there ever been a good finale to a modern show that isn´t a miniseries?
the titans one was good because rather than being a typical happily ever after like every other show, it spoke to the underlying desire to see a shows conclusion.
theres often some moment where the bad guy is defeated and all of the bad stuff he did starts to rewind. stuff gets rebuilt people get bandaged up. the tension of conflict is relieved. in that sense, i think the ending of tera's saga everyone was expecting her to come back later.
but real life isnt always like that. sometimes we have to just deal with a bad end.
kino af
teen titans ending was a major dick move, avatars ending was great, chowders ending was suiting for the show and pretty alright, adventure times ending should've been worked on more but the last few seconds would of been better if they gave a better explanation for why null was there, steven universe ending was retarded, and gumball barely even ended lole
