I was a huge fan of animaniacs back in the day, I don’t mind that they nuke the nurse, Minerva, the hippos, etc etc, they were shit characters to begin with, but I do mind the incredibly ugly color pattern, static animation, bland jokes, the show used to be more energetic and you can tell by just comparing the intros, I just want a funny, energetic cartoon but all I got is something that looks like a 2008 newgrounds parody I swear to fucking god ADHD videos of 2013 have more fluid animation than the last decade of Hulu cartoons

2D has be mastered traditionally since the 20s, but only with cels. Modern tech is like 3D, too new to be mastered. We are at that 2006 era of 3D, where it could look like how we want it, but it's still "off". We are getting real animation again instead of fake tweenshit, but it's still "off". But in 20 more years it will be as good as the 40s era animation, and in 40 years, it would look like webm related WITHOUT being expensive, like webm.
Just be patient and stop bitching. At least it isn't 2010s styled anymore, it's like going from 80s to 90s. Now we need to go from 90s back to 40s.
