Angus was put on a bus and removed from the story because Jeff couldn't find a place for him in the "everybody must be sexually deviant in some way or a minority" cast of thousands as a straight white man, alongside Steve and the other coffee girl I can't remember, but also because Jeff couldn't progress with making Faye a gay robofucker without writing him out. It's 50/50 odds Sven gets shitcanned after his little mini-arc with May for similar reasons.

Nobody acts fucking reasonably in this goddamn comic. All Dora has to say is "my brother helped with the wedding arrangements because he's family" and literally nobody would question that. It would even be useful for whatever stupid moral transformation Hacks is putting Sven through, with the fuckbuddy thing and being considerate to his sister's financial needs, because it would at least show character development beyond the usual shitfisted snarky dialogue that fails to be funny, but he can't even do that properly.

I'm just thankful he acknowledged what an insufferable asshole Dora is for once.
