So after doing some digging, I think I’m ready to pitch this again.
As the creator of this pitch, you can ask me anything and I’ll respond. Let’s see how well I learned!

Isn't the pitch creator a tripfag?

The Apple Mage
I thought using my trip was bad?

If youre in your own thread go ahead

is she an applebottom?

Who are you?, we need to know your existence and sins

Alright thanks!
Her species is a red delicious.

Any links or background info? I'm going into this blind. The design is super cool and the Ben-Day dots for shadows are neat. Have you done any animation tests with this character yet?

I have one right here!

Honestly yeah better use a trip in the relevant thread than have people still upset over the spamming of #bettercartoonfag
Do you have any settings worked out yet?

I mean background location specifically

I’m still trying to move beyond past generic medieval fantasy. I’m thinking something with a Nordic or Celtic edge.

Are they all going to be types of apples? Or do we get more races past that?

This was brought up in the past threads!
One idea was to only have apples connected to the great gods but that was too limiting. So now I’m thinking you have an entire race of fruit co existing with the humans, both people having a god each.

>So, Bunhearts. I notice your character designs are shaped like fruits. What does this offer the setting that typical human, funny animal, or other fantastical designs do not?

Fruits hold a certain symbolism to them from culture to culture; for example, you have the goddess Idunn who is associated with apples and the harvest of the Norse gods. With so much rich but still easy to follow along symbolism, there’s a whole new world of storytelling to be derived here, as opposed to humans and funny animals which tend to be 1:1 stories.
For a more practical and educational standpoint, having fruits as the good guys could encourage better eating habits in young children.

I assume the fruits are still a no-bumping-uglies-for-babies race that is tied to a god? Or are you just making them like animals with boy fruits and girl fruits? If they are like animals, are their mix species fruits that can make more or would they be like mules and that explains why all the fruits aren't just mixed varients?

Thanks. Watched it, I like the way you put the animatic together- it's super clean. The worm in her head is a creative idea. My only complaint is that this pitch is a little wordy (the images in the speech balloons helped a bit during the exposition sequence). Is this a children's pitch?
Going off of what this user is saying, I'd love to see how you make this world yours. This might risk making your pitch less earthy but I'd love to see the props have a distinct visual identity. (What do trees look like in a world populated by apples? Are welcoming mats leaves? Stuff like that.)
I'm interested, I can't wait to see more of this project and where it goes.

You know that larping is fucking creepy, right?

>Her species is a red delicious.
I was pretty sure that was gonna be the case.
Unrelated, but I'd recommend trying out an Ingrid-Marie apple if you ever get the chance. It's a slightly obscure danish apple.

The fruits are still using a rebirth cycle. This is to highlight how magical they are compared to normal humans. It’s also reminiscent of how fruits work (take the seeds from an older fruit, plant it to make new fruit) that you really can’t pull off with animals or magic creatures (save for the Phoenix but a race of Phoenix people is kind of limiting ^^;)
Oh yeah I want to employ a sort of cottage core feel. Make it appear as if it were home made, like with those old apple core dolls. I didn’t want to over do it in fear of coming across as cheesy.

I want to slip her the banana.

Tripcodes are used to identify people when their identities are important to the topic at hand, like if someone is sharing their work or one of the rare times an actual celebrity does an AMA here.

Tripfags specifically refer to people who treat Zig Forums like a bbs and try to become a Zig Forums celebrity.

Good thing that’s not happening?

Post your tripcode on your twitter.

Since it's the rebirth thing doe that mean there is a finite amount of a given fruit race? Do you think that would ever come into play like if theres only 100 bananas and 12 are missing but no new bananas appear it's a mystery~ or one fruit impersonating another fruit race and getting found out because of it?
Or is that just not a thing?

I’m not even her dude

I like it! Got a Twitter or someting else I can follow?

No idea what the fuck is going on in this trhead and to be honest I don't care. I'll just give my two cents.
This is a cute concept. The VAs could use better direction. Not sure if they're talking in hushed tones to wake the neighbors or if that was just the take they gave you, but the voice acting felt annoyingly restrained.
Are you sharing this anywhere else? I'd like to see more of your work.

>I’m not even her
That's what I implied, yeah

Is it a 30min episode series or an 11min?
To show that you know where this series is going and if its episodic or not, give us some tvguide episode synopsis like
>the episode where aliens attack
>the beach episode where a giant squid attacks
>the episode where the team have to compete in a car/kart race and win back a family heirloom mcguffin
>etc.
