It's honestly pretty pointless; judging by the types of sexy male characters women seem to gravitate towards (see most fujobait shit) they dont actually want skimpy exaggerated forms in the same way men do. The main market for bara is a certain segment of gay males, which seems like a small customer base

Lots of comics and cartoons are about escapism and fantasy. So having every character be as sexy, cute or ugly as it can be is totally justified. What doesn´t make sense is making superheros and god like beings that just look like regular joes.

In this case men did that to themselves, so it's not the objectification you think of but harmless sexualization.
Conan is a man and was made by a man.
Namor is a man and was made by a man.
They glorify themselves because they made it.
Psylocke is a woman and was made by a man.
They objectificate her because they, the creators, aren't women.
If a woman made a female character that showed skin it wouldn't be objectification but harmless sexualization.
