Is it good? At what point it's enough? Also bring back the sexy women, please
Sexualization of men in comics
Yes it is good, we men are gods on Earth and wom*n should never forget it.
No. Give me more yaoi bara
FPBP
Of Superman?
Yes
What's with the tumblr censoring, makes ypu seem like a bitch.
Isn't this a page from invincible when hes reading his dads novels? It looks extremely similar
You're welcome
Dubs of truth
I don't remember, but it does look similar.
Is this the recurrent stealth beefcake husbando thread or there was supposed to be an actual discussion here?
>still can't tell the difference between male power fantasy and sexualisation
If you're honestly at this low a stage of understanding about this subject, you shouldn't be talking about it.
A little of both
It's honestly pretty pointless; judging by the types of sexy male characters women seem to gravitate towards (see most fujobait shit) they dont actually want skimpy exaggerated forms in the same way men do. The main market for bara is a certain segment of gay males, which seems like a small customer base
I love drawing sexy dudes and sexy women. As a guy in /h/ said:
>I like to self insert as a hunk banging a cute girl instead of a fat ugly bastard
>still can't tell the difference between male power fantasy and sexualisation
>implying there's actually a big difference
>It's honestly pretty pointless
Idk, user. Live action movies seems to make a great profit from it
>Is it good?
Yes
>At what point it's enough?
Never
Male power fantasy dumbass
That's Chris Evans, everyone wants him, so he doesn't count.
Why not just have both like in the good old days? Scantily clad men fighting other scantily clad men and monsters/aliens for the affections of scantily clad women
>refusing to understand the distinction so you can persist in a false equivalency
>will still cry inequality when the next covered-up Poison Ivy redesign or whatever comes out
>but still refuses to understand or engage with the issue
You're your own worst enemy.
>Scantily clad men fighting other scantily clad men and monsters/aliens for the affections of scantily clad women
Hello, Based Department?
>this isn't a male power fantasy
You people are all terminally stupid.
Based. But how about scantily clad men fighting other scantily clad men and monsters/aliens for the affections of scantily clad men?
Lots of comics and cartoons are about escapism and fantasy. So having every character be as sexy, cute or ugly as it can be is totally justified. What doesn´t make sense is making superheros and god like beings that just look like regular joes.
One man's power fantasy is another man's sexual fantasy and so on. Point is you do you bud
That is also acceptable, either way you're getting testosterone-fueled action and adventure.
It's always good.
In this case men did that to themselves, so it's not the objectification you think of but harmless sexualization.
Conan is a man and was made by a man.
Namor is a man and was made by a man.
They glorify themselves because they made it.
Psylocke is a woman and was made by a man.
They objectificate her because they, the creators, aren't women.
If a woman made a female character that showed skin it wouldn't be objectification but harmless sexualization.
Case in point, Conner's Power Girl
>You people are all terminally stupid.

This. The actual reason manga keeps selling big numbers. No one wants to look at ugly shit while consuming things one has paid for
Men should be sexualized as much as women.
And women should always sexualized, by a lot
