The old one was so much better, he played the villain of the episode from time to time, He had funny lines, He got slapstick and he even was the main focus of some episodes like that oen were he gets fired and the Warners had to help him get his job back.

As someone who's Russian, this makes no sense to me. The idea of the "weak woman" is purely American and driven by the economic prosperity of the WWII boom. The Soviet Union never had such a boom because the country was destroyed, war loans had to be repaid, and half of the country's able-bodied men were dead. Women had to take on all kinds of work because there were no men to do them, so there is no weak woman stereotype. My grandmothers were never housewives, one was a construction worker who built commieblocks and the other a chemist/pharmacist. Everyone worked, and being a woman did not exclude anyone from either hard physical labor or intellectual/scientific/medical work.
