I'm surprised they haven't tried bothering with making another Deadpool game at this point considering how he's actually popular now.

Honestly I think it could've worked as a 5-10 hour beat em up where you pick your favorite character with maybe the occasional move upgrade you could unlock but noooo they wanted to make some GAY butt crum where you gotta grind online for hours for uhhhh something? Fudge if I know.

The resource system is dumb, stretched out, and all for what? Stats? There’s no goal or incentive to play at all after you max out character cards and get the unlocked skins

That's an issue I got with a lot of modern games. RPG mechanics seem to be "in" but it almost always results in some lame shit like +.005% movement speed etc where you gotta max everything out to feel like how you should've felt at the start rather than something like DMC3 where every new upgrade is a substantial improvement to your base foundation that could've already held an entire game on its own.

What's the downside?

At least Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 is easy to pirate and X Men Legends 1/2 are easy to emulate
