Even if the common term of original inhabitants is "indigenous" it's common to use the term natives for the indigenous people of the 2 Americas. So North, Meso and South American indigenous characters.

true, i like when they use actual cultural dress and historically accurate and interesting aspects instead of just mindless brainwashing
although they never seem to really do anything WITH the original story by putting another culture in its place (for example what kinda interesting spin could you put on snow white if she was native American?) and they usually only touch the white princesses which makes me think there's still some brownwashing intent underneath it all
