They are far from being great, but about half of the complaints towards it can be basically summarized to stupid fanboyish semantics talk like "not muh sanic" and "NOOOOOOOOOO STOP USING THIS CHARACTER I HATE". >Sonicfags didn't care much and didn't have much to lose. If they lost to arguably the strongest character in DC then that isn't a loss to be ashamed of. Fans of it get exposure. The Sonic fanbase is also pretty divided so fans of the games might not give a shit about the comic etc
>The comic threads are rare around here and even in those people shitpost about it anyway so trying to troll them doesn't really work as they already don't give a shit
>DCfags / Wallyfags came out looking far worse as they cried for two weeks straight jumping between "this match is rigged" and "Wally totally wins now!" every day based on random stuff that meant nothing. They even seethed when Wally ended up winning. It ultimately came out as a pyrrhic victory
