Because Lucas Arts is a very greed corporation, KOTOR could've been far far better if they didn't kept pressuring Obsidian Entertainment to rush production, fuck they even fucked up battlefront 3 because of greed. A few million dollars, a partnership with a Japanese studio still familiar with cel animation and they could've made a visually stunning, 24 episode TV series. It's Star Wars so an audience was assured.
