>Don't know where to buy? Try these: amazon.com/ (known to manhandle books with bad packaging) instocktrades.com/ (worldwide shipping, often has sales) mycomicshop.com (worldwide shipping) cheapgraphicnovels.com/ ebay.com/ alibris.com/ (Amazon alternative, it doesn't have the usual fees, it ships worldwide and accepts PayPal) [your local comic shop here]
Went with my brother to an outlet store to get some cheap christmas gifts. He said he couldn't find anything he thought I'd like, I pointed him to their copies of Superman DC Archive Edition. So that's coming my way in a few weeks.
Jaxson Gomez
my dad doesnt work at nintendo but is the hyrule history darkhorse edition still canon or up to date? or is it simple stuff we know from playing the games.

>Where are all the deals at?! It seems like nobody is offering a Black Friday sale on comics this year, it makes me very sad...
Eli Morris
It's mostly an artbook for Skyward Sword. As for the timeline, it's mostly correct, save for later additions.
Christopher Gomez
thanks.

Anyone want to try to explain why Berserk Deluxe vol 6 never showed up on IST, DCBS, or CGN?
John Sanchez
the local LCS is slicing prices on stuff already in the bargin bins. Not much happening, which is good since COVID's raging again
Jaxon Bailey
Good score I always prefer reading Superman with a nice whiskey
Brayden Adams
Yeah it’s a damn shame I got money to burn
Henry Jackson
I've got money, but no room. I prefer physical. What do?
Michael Turner
put some of the old ones in a box for now. I had to do that to fit some of mine on my shelf. Now I feel bad about how much big 2 I have, but that'll be rectifed once I get more Hickman FF.

Should I go to my local comic shop and potentially get Corona-ed or just order something on the internets
Samuel Lee
and then I'll get other things after, I mean

So I recently got a hardcover comic collection, one of the John Stanly library volumes from Drawn & Quarterly, and the binding feels...a bit cheap? I'm not a hardcore hardcover collector so that's the best way I can describe it. A couple reviews I've read since have complaints about the binding of some of their books as well. I broke it in like I'm supposed to and it has a good eye however if I look down the open spine from the top it looks like some of the thin paper/cardboard/whatever it is backing that goes onto the spine has come away at the top. The spine itself is stitched and still looks fine under the bit of stuff that's come away so will this be a problem in time or is it really nothing to worry about?

This week's swag. Nothing too crazy in the way of sales here, just a few 10-20% ones.
Just got back from my LCS. They're doing 20% off. Got everything but the JSA omnibus there, that's just new since I last posted. I was aiming for $100 and hit it dead on, but then knocked two of the Lobster Johnson books off the top rack when I grabbed the one I was going to buy, and I felt bad so I just got all three. At least they were books I wanted.
I'm also waiting on JSA omnibus vols. 2 and 3, and BPRD Hell on Earth vols. 3 and 5. My budget for next month is already well spent.
I was really happy to see this shop was still doing theirs. I thought the big one in town did a Small Business Saturday sale every year, too, but they haven't posted anything since September, let alone about a sale. Which is weird. I know they're fine and open, and they used to post pretty regularly.
might be okay, but you might also have to glue it. it's why those DC omnis that were sewed from 2018-2020 also had glue all over them
Daniel Butler
Yeah, that does happen occasionally. I think you're right, it's just a case of cheaping out on materials.
Doubt it'll hurt the book but as says, might be worth adding a dab of glue in there with a cotton bud.
Oliver Bailey
I've never glued a book myself before. What type should I use? It might be easier to just get a replacement via Amazon if you think it could be a problem.
