What was his problem??
What was his problem??
He didn't like foreigners coming over from shithole countries and taking his job
just doing his literal job
He was in a position of authority that completely relied on the people of El Dorado believing that the gods wanted human sacrifices. The only reason he wasn't doing daily murder rituals was due to the influence of the chief. Then the "gods" appeared and told him to fuck off after revealing that they weren't actually who they said they were.
He’s an armpit-fag
His character design always kind of bugged me. Where would his brain fit in his head? There's no space above his eyes/nose for his brain to sit inside his skull.
He just wanted to stall the Kali Yuga with his sacrifices. Truly the unsung hero of the entire Dreamworks canon
He was right and nobody fucking listened to him
Nothing. The Gods literally existed and he was doing his job to them, but the Chief wanted to ruin this.
>He was in a position of authority that completely relied on the people of El Dorado believing that the gods wanted human sacrifices.
Considering he had literal magic. It's safe to say the Gods exist and they wanted human sacrifices.
Aztec priests (on which he was undoubtedly based) were absolute fucking psychopaths.
Seriously, Aztec culture was fucking heinous, not even the emperors were safe
And I'm still smarter than you
Is in a bad movie
Aztecs didn't have Emperors.
This movie was a waste of talent. There's barely a story here. It's empty fluff that happens to look pretty, but you don't take anything from it
This movie and Titan AE both deserved to flop back in 2000. They're bad movies and anyone who calls them underrated gems is full of shit
Shut up shark tale fag
They or whatever is the source of this power needed some sort of tribute, maybe, but humans specifically? What is the deep lore of El Doradan mysticism?
What if he was right? I imagine El Dorado got nuked by the gods shortly after Miguel, Tulio and Chel left.
Pinhead.
Its just people fapping to Chel
I adore hand drawn animation, but this movie is bad. Those animators wasted their talents here, since they were not allowed to have fun with the character animation. Everything here is too stiff, too on-model
How society was in a perpetual state of warfare to provide captives to serve as a valuable source of animal protein and fat for the unsustainable population of the city.
Aztecs were cannibals
That, and i also see people call it an hilarious comedy. I don't see it. There're a few amusing moments and mild chuckles, but it's not really funny
No, the animation is great, but the movie itself is just a bunch of tropes with no emotional connection (or weak ones i gues..)
And the second climax (yeah there was 2 of those) was boring.
>Everything here is too stiff, too on-model
This is a complaint?
T. Eats lead paint chips
Why did they feel the need to not just kill the villain off with his stone tiger thing. The extra shit at the end with the Spaniards was rushed and made the movie feel bloated at the same time.
Pretty much. The film just fails to connect with the viewer. It's not emotional at all. It's also not particularly charming or innocent
Can't stand animation films in which all of the human characters are adults. You need to have at least a child imo
I can relate
user, is there something you want to discuss?
