>The main character has a best friend of the opposite gender
>Show decides they have to end up together because of that.
Things/plots that annoy you
Didn't Jake Long avoid this? They just paired his two best friends together instead?
>HETEROSEXUAL RELATIONSHIPS BAD!!!
I didn't know GLAAD actively posted on here.
not hetero, just instants where the lead and their best friend get paired together for no reason other then they're the two most prominent characters
This right here.
You people are so obsessed with straight this gay that to the point you think everything has to do with it
>it's a man vs religion episode
>it's written as if "religion is bad" is some groundbreaking new discovery or a hot take
"Oh, but we live in a society where it seems like--" Yeah, no we don't. Shut the fuck up.
>religious episode written by an atheist with a fuck all understanding of the religion they're criticizing
>reddit faggots eat it up as "SO TRUE!!1!"
is reddit really that bad? I only go there to get advice on games I play. I'm guessing it's because I'm not going to some of the more notorious areas or whatever they call the r's
they think theyre right on every subject so its not much different than here
The science & atheism subreddits are ruthless pseudointellectual circle jerks. You're fine if you just stay on the support subreddits.
>Mindwipes
I hate them. They are just lazy excuses to keep the boring status quo or reset everything because the writer(s) are lazy.
>Didn't Jake Long avoid this?
Yes but the two friends didn't get paired off together either. I don't remember if the black girl ended up with anyone but Spud wound up with a literal Stacey.
>shit hivemind full of astroturfing
>political parties, special interest groups, and foreign governments pay thousands of dollars to promote their policies and influence American culture
>good boy points in the form of stickers and karma
but worst part of it is that they're so fucking smug, so fucking hypocritical, and so fucking pretentious about it.
I think Danny Phantom would have benefitied from Reality Trip if Danny decided he could trust his parents with his secret and decide to wipe everyone's memories except his friends and family
They could have even cracked a joke about Jack being more loose with secrets
How about shows that absolutely refuse to leave it's status quo even though it's the type of show that would benefit from it. Looking at Ladybug for example
Even Code Lyoko had major change ups (stopped using the reset button as much, new powers, can't just simply kill the villain by shutting off the supercomputer even after removing it's link with Aelita, villain gets a brainwashed henchman, etc)
Even Teen Titans changed it's main Villain every season,
This. The entire premise is just a dellusion made by people that was probably friendzoned.
read the fucking post again
unrelated but seeing how Starfire never really got a Season-long villain, what would her's be? I don't read comics so blackfire is the only one I can think of.
>it's a boys vs girls episode
That was one of the worst examples I hated. Danny could have told his parents and they would help him fight ghosts.
It is especially made even more stupid by having the final episode being Danny’s parents finding out.
How do those usually end again? One side winning? Does it ever end with both failing horribly and onlookers calling the whole thing stupid?
It's Zig Forums but isn't Mystery Girlfriend X about averting that? Though you have to get through the alienating premise first?
Yeah Season 3 and the final episode had the entire writing staff thrown out and replaced just like Gargoyles, explaining the shitty quality.
We could have had:
>Danny having to deal with the drama of knowning Vlad's secret idenity but cant' bring himself to tell his parents or at least his father
>Fighting the guys in white because of how Draconian their stances on ghosts are
>Valerie
>Adopting Dani
>MC needs an item so they ask another character for it
>character tells MC to get them something before giving it up
>MC goes to another character and they have to do a task before they give up that item
>repeat until the episode is over
There were other shows that did this but Ed, Edd, Eddy is the only one that comes to mind
cartoons aren't the only thing that does this, Shadow Hearts Covenant comes to mind, you have to do this exactly right or you miss out on one of your Party Member's ultimate weapon
unnamed / faceless parents
Relationships can be difficult even with chemistry
Biggoron Sword in OoT
Has any Zig Forums show ever had the boys winning in the end?
It's not Zig Forums but the only one I can think of who did that was Friends
Characters suddenly turning into a dyke or a faggot because of annoying fans
>Show doesn't do that
>Ignore it anyway because REASONS
Yeah bro, it's almost like you deserve to be annoyed.
before that happened, even though I don't want to remmeber it, The Cleveland Show turned Terry gay, even though he was shown to be a huge womanizer in earlier episodes, was a stripper/prosititue for women in one episode.
