Why did everyone talked in neutral Spanish but this fish talked in an exaggerated Argentinian accent?
Andrew Mitchell
Chispitas no!!!!
Carson Hall
Because all accents in the spanish lenguage see funny to everyone who doesn't speak them, except mexican, that one is just annoying
Angel King
This , the rarer the accent, the funnier. Most latinos thought 31 Minutos was hilarious because they talked like chileans
Brayden Myers
F for chispa. Brits have it inside
Andrew Hall
>Because all accents in the spanish lenguage see funny to everyone who doesn't speak them, except castilian, that one sounds homosexual

>No mames way pinche pendojo A La Verga
Yeah I'm thinking méxican is shit
Kevin Powell
Why do Spanish speaking people consistently make threads about their own dubs? I never see any other language really do this to the same degree, it's specifically Spanish-speakers. This isn't meant to be inflammatory if it comes off that way, I've just noticed that it's way more common to see Spanish-speakers discuss the quality of their dubs.
Parker James
Latin america is a huge subcontinent with a huge population, who grew up with the exact same dubs made in mexico. Mexican dubs might be the most popular foreign dubs of american media in the western hemisphere.
Joshua Thompson
Because Spanish dubs have SOVL
Michael Murphy
not a spanish speaker here, but I suppose it's just becaus they're milions and milions, add to that every dialects and variations that are still understandable to everyone, all with their stereotypes and dubs and it's basically a rabbit hole
Aiden Cook
This. I haven't seen foreign dubs that have the same soul that hispanic ones do. Most dubs feel like they were sloppily made out of necessity, while latino ones often have a lot of passion and creativity put into them.
Caleb Nelson
>Yeah I'm thinking méx-thican is thit *SWITHY SWITH*
Parker Harris
Because el Dieguito is based

I'm italian and I think our dubs are also pretty sovlful
Bentley Powell
You went through a lot of trouble just to achieve the same as your average "LA ONDA VITAL DE LOBEZNO A TODO GAS LUZ FUEGO DESTRUCCIÓN GUSTAVO Y EL BADULAQUE"
Liam Foster
That's because you guys are soulful. I've heard your Simpsons dubs and they crack me up. Also Topolino Raton cracks me up but for different reasons.
Camden Martin
I don't really know what is raton, but the rest is much apprecciated

Brayden Green
>t. hated original Jake el perro
Literally people only watched the show because Jake said random funny shit and when they took that down everyone complained and the actor fucking left as well.
Camden Myers
I thought you guys called Mickey Mouse Topolino Raton, maybe i misremembered
Eli Morris
no, it's just Topolino, are you talking about his nasal voice in the dubs?
Benjamin Garcia
Dub actors saying random mexican shit is hit or miss, but Jake the dog really worked for me. It really counter-balanced the pretentious artsy aspects of Adventure Time, in a good way. Who complained about it? A bunch of hipsters, no doubt.
Brayden Turner
The nasal voice and the absurdity of the name "topolino" are very funny to me.

Also, as an argentinean, seeing mickey speaking in a language that we consider romanticized and classy is also weirdly funny.
Asher King
consider that donald duck is called paperino and daisy duck is paperina
also never knew italian is considered classy there
Gabriel Harris
Nah, it was Cartoon Network for some reason. Everyone complained about the changes. Ice King managed to slip by somewhat.
Samuel Cox
I don't know if "classy" is the right word, but the language is associated with this classic old world culture, given all the italian immigrants. It reminds us of our grandparents and old movies and music and such, at least if you're from the big eastern cities.
Kevin Barnes
>Ice King managed to slip by somewhat.
"Gunther te volviste reggaetonero!"
Jack Ross
that's nice, but do you mean old italian movies or just movies that portrays europe?
Blake Adams
I can tolerate one show having it, but all CN shows had strong mexican accent, and it was annoying as fuck
Justin Sanders
cause it's funny
