X-Men

Who should replace Apocalypse and Jean Grey on the Quiet Council of Krakoa?

Archangel or Beast could replace Apocalypse. Hickman clearly has a thing for Monet, so she could replace Jean.

Archangel and Isca

Remind me who the Red King is again?

Is a is a terrible idea, she always votes with the winners and can't break ties

Kate Pryde.

I will never understand forgiving some of the people at that table and letting them be there

That's actually hilarious.

Huh. Thanks.

Look at all those sociopaths and Kurt.

It *is* weird when half your council consists of unapologetic murderers.

Zig Forumsmrades I have a question
If I dont like Hickman's writing style, can I still enjoy the current X-books?

Maybe not the ones that are being written by him, but there's like five other books that aren't.
Give it a shot

Forget about forgiving them, Mystique, Shaw, and Mister Sinister have a LONG history of not being trustworthy and fucking over everyone in general and their fellow mutants specifically. At least Magneto, Exodus, and Apocalypse can be trusted to act in what they believe to be the best interests of mutants.

Shaw already tried to kill Kitty and Sinister is doing Sinister things, it's fucking retarded

Probably Famine considering he was the representative in Otherworld. I want Bei to be the other representative in the Summer court since she's shown to actually be heroic.

Any recommendations?
I wanted to read the book with Laura but apparently Fallen Angels isn't very good
Is there any book with her right now?

Nope, she went into The Vault in X-Men and hasn't come out yet.

Sebastian Shaw might not remain in his seat for long either.

>Any recommendations?
Cable, Wolverine, Hellions, Marauders, haven't read New Mutants but I haven't seen anything bad about it either, Excalibur and not really an X-book but the FF/X-men crossover was nice
>I wanted to read the book with Laura but apparently Fallen Angels isn't very good
Honestly I don't remember anything about the actual story, just the shit art.
>Is there any book with her right now?
No, she's showing up again in January or February I think

Laura's part of New Mutants, I think?
Hellions is a really fun book and I think X-Factor has a lot of potential, but it only just got started.

Didn't Famine fuck off with Poc and family?

Bei should take Gorgon's place as a commander
>I wanted to read the book with Laura
she got blacked in the Vault

Give my boy Hellion a shot. He's a good leader, cares about mutant rights, and is one of the few mutant characters to have never died despite constantly being used as fodder.

Should've invited Mikhail. That could've saved them some trouble.

Yeah I mean what the hell... Why is it most of the New X-Men besides Rockslide, Anole, and Prodigy get more mention than the others... it not like they didn't have important roles back in the last decade and so?

They'll be Hickmans characters, he's full of shit. "resurrections bringing everyone back to the table" was a smokescreen. PoX was pretty much all OCs and X, Moira, Nimrod and Omega Sentinels characters were all changed beyond recognition.

Hasn't Apoc been replaced by the island anyways?

Rogue or Gambit would liven the council meetings up with their antagonistic relations to the others, but under these writers who seem to relate to the villains more, they'd get fucked over. Natural canon flow would've seen Rogue as a council member from the beginning.

>Who who should take over
Aroakko itself (assuming they don't some how manage to get RedRoot back) for Apoc as the representative for the lost mutants and evolution of mutant kind.
Beast for Jean as the voice of reason but still willing to get his hands dirty.
>Who will take over?
Probably some new un-named demon hybrid will take over Apocalypse's old shtick of being a blood thirsty warlord sense the last year he has been super mellow.
And fucking Rachel will probably take over for Jean because god forbid there be less than 5 sociopaths psychics leading the nation.

And he's one of the few characters who would benefit from dying, since he'd finally be able to get his hands back via the Five.

Hickman needs to bring back Old Man Cable and drop him on the Council. Have him mentor his younger self so that character isn't such a big fucking failure anymore.

>Aroakko itself
Arrako, like Krakoa, seems to above the Council. Since without them, the mutants wouldn't have anywhere to form their nation.

>Rachel
fuck yeah! She's so much better than Jean anyway. But even if she doesn't get a seat, at least she has a major role in X-Factor and Leah actually remembers why she's awesome and showed off her powers well.

I think Arrako and Krakoa the islands are going to fuse in the next big even and they themselves as entities will become fuck off big elementals taking care of their original form and continuing to comment on the affairs of the other mutants.

Why did Jean left?
Scott and Logan - they each led xmen at some point
logan has more tactic experience than charles and magneto combined
Also they are diverse enough and had fucked almost half of the council including each other

>Why did Jean left?
She was booted off for going with Scott to Otherworld to save the mutants that went to the tournament.

>Why did Jean left?
she didn't, she got kicked off for joining Scott on the rescue mission.
Scott is the Supreme Captain and wouldn't sit on the council now that he knows it would stop him from being a superhero that he wants to be. Logan is being too much a loner.
