This drought of shows is killing me, what are you guys even watching
This drought of shows is killing me, what are you guys even watching
Watching normie cartoons that I missed due to not watching anything since 2006.
Got AT next on my schedule. Maybe Star vs. Whateverthefuck afterward.
Gumball ass
I haven't watched a "show" in years, i just watch youtube channels that do crafts and documentaries and then play videogames, sometimes i read a couple webcomics when i remember to check.
Pretty sure this whole board, self included, watched Animaniacs this past week
anime
Nah, I looked at the faces and said no, that off yellow is bothersome.
I watched one episode, didn't laugh once, and decided it's not for me
Hilda, Primal, Corner Gas Animated, Tigtone.
That huge wave of shit we got in 2008-2011 still can't ever happen again, can it? They tried in 2014-2016 and all we got were shows that were canned after less than 4 years which sounds impressive until you realize they split up the seasons, had hiatuses and then the show wasn't renewed but still touted having a '4th season' that was really just episodes that were supposed to already air.
Yes I mad
>you will never be 18 again and after not having some good cartoons for years you had early AT come out, RS, Gumball etc
>made you love cartoons again after not watching many throughout middle school to high school
These days I'm just riding my bike around town for 5 hours while I pretend I'm looking for a job.
I mean I am, but just sending resumes on Linkedin makes my family think I spend my days masturbating and playing vidya instead.
Shows that are on my backlog. Right now I'm making my way through Regular Show. On season 4 now I've been pretty into it so far. I just keep watching shows on my backlog 3-4 episodes a day. Until whatever currently airing show I want to watch finishes and then I catch up. I guess I miss out on week by week discussions. But knowing Zig Forums I doubt I'm missing out on much. Probably just miss out on character lewding and people complaining how nothing is good.
It's just like missing out on anime seasons, you're actually missing out on a lot dude. As someone that kept up with cartoons as they were airing so much happens when you're waiting for episodes just like everyone else. My biggest regret in this regard was stopping Regular show/adventure time right around mid 2013 when they were just picking up and subsequently seeing all the RS ending threads late 2017 made me depressed. I wished I didn't go basically 5 years not watching shit.
I don't even watch cartoons anymore. I just watch foreign films and 90's to late 2000's indie movies. I only come to this board to shitpost and leave.
Nothing, all the shows that are good either ended or are in hiatus.
I've been getting back into Evangelion lately.
it looks tasty
Hilda S2 is coming soon user. Right now I'm watching W.I.T.C.H for the first time. Also rewatching Iron Man Armored Adventures
do people here really watch children's cartoons? I thought it was just for pedos who find child toon characters attractive
>do people here really watch children's cartoons?
No. Not even adult cartoons, or any cartoons for that matter
Yeah back when I was more of a weeb I did like taking part in several anime forums discussions of episodes as they aired week by week. I do miss the sense of community aspect and experiencing everything together. And reading people's thoughts, theories, and breakdown of episodes. I just don't got it in me anymore to keep up with things in a week by week basis. With life obligations that sorta just takes the back burner. It's can feel a little isolating because sometimes I want to discuss something from an older show and I have no one to discuss it with. But oh well. I still enjoy going through my back catalog of older shows.
joe mama
Absolutely
^ is Furry
I've had Alf replaying on my TV for the past 6 months. I don't even care for the show that much and I don't know why I put it on
imagine spooning him while being spooned by his mom
Hololive
Same, actually watched el mariachi, recently. For the budget it had it was pretty good.
There are some great cartoons right now. The problem is that Zig Forums only watches what Twitter is watching and then complains about how everything is Twitter.
What's everyone looking forward to
>the final two Adventure Time specials
The first two have been really good so far and the next two even have actually good premises on paper. I'm also hoping the show gets revived since someone said it's not out of the question, but only if they don't use the retarded binge format.
>The Owl House season 2
The first one wasn't very good but I'm still curious how it'll pan out, plus Dana said they should have more freedom to be darker in it.
>whatever Hirsch is working on
I'm not really confident it'll be any good but I'll give it a chance, and we'll finally know if he's a one trick pony.
>Young Justice season 3
Hopefully with a bigger animation budget.
>Close Enough season 2
It was already finished back in summer from what I understand, I wonder what they're waiting for.
So I assume you're just here for the webcomics then?
Yeah not me either. Nothing against it, I might try it out.
I'm 19
Same, but walking around time while everyone mires me
