Make good comic

The sales were fine, DC was just going through a bunch of shit because of AT&T trying to cut costs

Honestly, it felt rather bland if you ask me. I mean, it was the 2nd best Metal spin off book, but that's not too high a bar, does anyone even remember what happened in Brimstone, Damage, or that X-men rip off?

Why the fuck did they brand those books as Metal spin offs when only 2 have any connection at all, and even then it wasn't a strong one. I mean, what the hell did Silencer even have to do with that shit?.

Is it just me or was this book not great, it felt like it was trying but something about the tone or dialogue was off. Am I in the wrong here? I can’t tell. Anyway I would have loved to like it but I just didn’t.

Yes, yes, both very special.

The plot felt too compressed if you ask me. Also there wasn't too much chemistry between the characters. I mean, I liked Plasticman, but Mr Terrific felt like he would have been better off in his own book away from everyone else.

It didn't even feel like Phantom Girl was even there most of the time. (No pun intended)

Terrifics wasn't very good though, it was pretty standard capeshit. Hellblazer was the big stand out for DC this year and it got cancelled, I'm mad about that. They didn't even wait for the first trade to come out

What?
You want to try that post again user?

As someone who was a fan of Doomed, I can sympathize with you.

At least this got an extension but was ultimately cancelled.

She was cute

Cult c-list characters , a meta reference to Marvel, and smart writing? Yep, its exactly the kind of book people say they love and want but then only 5 people buy.

Both Terrifics and Hellblazer were fantastic

Blame Diamond and singles only being in LCS.

>Am I in the wrong here?
I'd think so.

Was it a good comic? I tried reading the first three issues and thought it was boring shit. Definitely below Sideways and Silencer.

Cute is not the same as a good character.
She was by far the weakest part of the book.

Hey I bought every damn issue, and I'm pissed that those last 3 became digital only. Part of the problem was COVID though

It's the EVA effect, if enough people say something is good, other people will say the same without ever seeing or reading it, and most other people will be unable to argue otherwise as long as the thing is at least mediocre.

gets better when Lemire leaves

And now she'll never appear again except as a one-off background character killed during an event to show how high the stakes are.

It was good, and you should be thankful it ended where it did. Had the book gotten more attention, the CCP would have thrown a shitfit. At least they're part of the Great Ten now, and still show up from time to time in other books

Forgot the "you're" you dumb faggot. How dare someone criticize a middling Lemire team book amiriteguyz?

Warner isn't a chinese thrall like Disney yet

kek seething

You say that and yet they backpedaled on that one variant cover of Molotov Batman because China bitched it was supporting the Hong Kong protests

Why lie?

honestly, kinda glad it's cancelled cause it free's Yang up to write more interesting books.

>Make good comic

when

... Like?

The only one "seething" is the guy who assumes anyone who disagrees with him is experiencing a crisis.

Shang Chi is pretty interesting, but I'd like to see more creator owned books from him
