What did we learn?

I guess we learned not to do it again

>worst episode in the series is by David Filoni
Not even close. The worst was the "bring the frog woman to her new homeworld with no lightspeed" ep
>featuring a character conceived by David Filoni
That statement was a continuation of your 1st, so mine is as well.
>any mystery surrounding one of the main characters was removed by David Filoni
If you're talking about Grogu/Baby Yoda, all we got was his real name and he was trained.
If you're talking about Ashoka, we have the exact same shit we did before the episode.
We got more and new questions than any pertinent answers.
>What did we learn?
That you're a moron.

>Not even close. The worst was the "bring the frog woman to her new homeworld with no lightspeed" ep
Are you out of your mind? This is a weak season but that one was the best one. It was the one that relies the less on cheap nostalgia.

It was Assassin's Creed-level side quest bad. The ones that make a 3 hour game into a 74 hour game. It's teetering on the edge of filler, if not full-blown filler.

It was alright :)

Boo hoo.

I liked it.

That you're a retarded faggot.

I honestly thought she was good. My only issue is that all these dumb turd fans now suddenly want the show to be about Jedi shit and bringing back the entire cast of Rebels, as if somehow the narrative can make room for more characters when we only get 8 episodes a year. No one wants to see Ezra’s goofy Aladdin shit. Ahsoka as a recurring supporting character is more than enough force bullshit, especially since now Grogu’s mystery is more or less over.

>Not even close. The worst was the "bring the frog woman to her new homeworld with no lightspeed" ep
That had more action and tension than Space Poochie and Friends on the forest planet.
>If you're talking about Grogu/Baby Yoda, all we got was his real name and he was trained.
Yes that removes the mystery surrounding his name (which shouldn't have been revealed) and that he was alive and trained in the Jedi Temple during TCW. They could've done anything but something so basic.
>If you're talking about Ashoka, we have the exact same shit we did before the episode.
We know shes going after Empire's Remnants to find Space Aladdin.
>We got more and new questions than any pertinent answers.
We got another fetch quest episode coming up and Ashoka at the present moment doesn't seem to be a focus outside the one episode.
>That you're a moron.
How?

there is no such thing as filler in an episodic show

>neo Zig Forums is leaking onto Zig Forums again

Was she referring to Lux, Rex or Barriss?

>That had more action and tension than Space Poochie and Friends on the forest planet.
The space chase was alright, but the 2nd part was just them running from bugs. It was insanely boring.
>mystery surrounding his name
Who cares? The fans didn't care because they had a name for him since his reveal (wrong or not) and Din didn't care, much like we don't care his name is Din
>he was alive and trained in the Jedi Temple during TCW
He had multiple teachers. Who were they? Why was he trained separately from the other Younglings? Who saved him from the strike on the temple at Corusant?
And that's only his backstory stuff. Will we see more about the Je'Daii Order (The precursor to Jedi) on Tython? Which Jedi, if any, will hear Grogu's attempt to connect with them?
We learned that Beskar can block Lightsaber strikes with no damage done to it. Will Mando use the Beskar spear against the Darksaber Moff Gideon has.
So many questions, and none having to do with Aladdin.
>We got another fetch quest episode
A) It's not. It's finding another Jedi that survived Order 66 or solidifying the bond Grogu has with Mando if he refuses.
B) And the frog woman ep wasn't an escort ally who's dogshit slower than you are?
>How?
See above

It's an apt comparison.
If it doesn't float your boat, then how about the "Who, What, Where, Ed" episode of Ed, Edd n Eddy? The one where they have to go through a long chain of trades just to get Rolf to trade sawdust for an egg.

that chopping your dick doesnt make you a woman

The episode still fell flat compared to the jump up episode 11 had.

>The space chase was alright, but the 2nd part was just them running from bugs. It was insanely boring.
I disagree. Theres a world of difference between them fending off ice insects and stiff choreography between Ashoka and Djin fighting fodder in a disheveled village.
>Who cares? The fans didn't care because they had a name for him since his reveal (wrong or not) and Din didn't care, much like we don't care his name is Din
>having standards for the media you watch is bad especially when they're already using a canon people aren't happy with
You're retarded.
>So many questions, and none having to do with Aladdin.
There weren't any lingering questions just half-baked poorly written answers from a waifufag protege. If they went with the most basic premise for him its already disappointing.
>) It's not. It's finding another Jedi that survived Order 66 or solidifying the bond Grogu has with Mando if he refuses.
They're going to stick together no matter what. The Kid sells merch and people watch it for their interactions. The frog episode is par for the course for a series thats a western with episodic plots involving bounties and fighting creatures.

You're a fucking retard user.

>doesn't deny being neo Zig Forums
Zig Forums isn't much better but fuck off to Zig Forums 2.0

I will take a good ol' "Mando goes to a weird planet and does a Monster Hunter" over the mediocre blah that was the last two episodes. The last two episodes feel like they belong in a different series.

This whole season has felt like one long quest chain in a mediocre video game, compared to the first season feeling more organic. It's all "go here, then go here, then go here" etc.

I want to like this show, but they keep making it so difficult for me...

>grogu
>fucking GROGU

>I disagree. Theres a world of difference between them fending off ice insects and stiff choreography between Ashoka and Djin fighting fodder in a disheveled village.
Most of the shots was them running or shooting while running. Any choreography is better than running.
>You're retarded.
Nice ad hominem, pal.
>If they went with the most basic premise for him its already disappointing.
Didn't I just lay out that his backstory wasn't everything? Do you have selective reading?
>a series thats a western with episodic plots involving bounties and fighting creatures.
And yet, this episode delivered the same thing while advancing the plot or at least setting up the potential for character growth.
>You're a fucking retard user.
Nah.

Gogurt

I just gave you a better Zig Forums comparison, even though you seemingly understood my 1st one.

>The last two episodes feel like they belong in a different series.
>he says while the last 2 episodes had the most ties to the series the show is based in.

I knew they never would but I wish we could have gotten Grandma Toph Ahsoka

Although from a certain point of view we kind of did

Attached: Bored_Korra_and_relaxing_Toph.png (340x191, 118.55K)

right, they were ~muh story~ episodes instead of "Mando and Yeed go on a weird adventure" that the series excels at

also Filoni's dialogue in the last episode was TRASH

>right, they were ~muh story~ episodes instead
No, not "instead"
"and"

no, just instead.

Will Zig Forums ever not complain?

>Most of the shots was them running or shooting while running. Any choreography is better than running.
Yet that managed to invoke more suspense than anything with Ashoka.
>Nice ad hominem, pal.
I mean you used it before I did but insults like retard and faggot are entry level banter here so get used to it you waste of semen.
>Didn't I just lay out that his backstory wasn't everything?
You gave out hypothetical scenarios for what his backstory would be and now you're saying it doesn't matter. You just contradicted your own point again.
>And yet, this episode delivered the same thing while advancing the plot or at least setting up the potential for character growth.
There was neither of that in this episode. It just gave another fetch quest, some half-assed backstory by Space Poochie and neither character learning anything they hadn't learned before. And Mando got more beskar.

You are indeed retarded.

will Filoni ever stop being a hack?

Then you're blind. If it wasn't Ahsoka, then this would be right in line with your "Mando goes to village to help stop bad person then moves on" episode setup. However, it was Ahsoka and you STILL got that setup.

When you stop being butthurt or when star wars dies. Or when I die.

>will Zig Forums ever stop disagreeing and become a true hivemind

>will Filoni ever stop being a hack?
Its in his nature to be one user.
Fuck off prick.

if it wasn't Ahsoka, maybe Dave wouldn't have written the episode and the dialogue wouldn't have been so stilted.

>Yet that managed to invoke more suspense than anything with Ashoka.
The only tension was the insects creepy factor. You must have known that they all would survive.
>I mean you used it before I did
I actually called you a moron. You both jumped it up to retard and you inferred that anyone who likes Dave Filoni is slow in some regard with your "What did we learn?" in the first post.
>You gave out hypothetical scenarios for what his backstory would be
AKA: Questions
>and now you're saying it doesn't matter.
I said it wasn't everything. Key word; Everything. It's still a part of something, so not "Doesn't matter". Again, do you have selective reading?
>It just gave another fetch quest
Wrong. It's the place that will determine if Grogu will stay with Mando or leave him to train with an available Jedi.
>some half-assed backstory by Space Poochie
Wrong. It showed that Grogu was on track to be a Jedi and not just some kid who realized they could move things without knowing how and the backstory was left open to be further explained.
>neither character learning anything they hadn't learned before
Wrong again. Mando learned more about the Jedis and the Force. He only used "May the Force be with you" in the frog woman ep because he knew it was the New Republic's sign off.
>You are indeed retarded.
There you go again.
