So, his run is over, mostly. Lets specifically talk about his Justice League run.

>What did you think of it in the end?
>What was your highlight?
>Were you satisfied with Snyder retconning the origin of Martian Manhunter to revolve around Lex?
>Do you think the villains were compelling?
>Did you care about all the shit revolving around the source wall, forger, etc?

Scott Snyder's run SOMEHOW was worse than Geoff Johns's New 52 run

Wanna elaborate on what makes it worse? I thought Johns run was pretty well recieved past the Jim Lee ghostwriting arcs.

I know it's been 2 years since his run started. But is it normal for a reader like me to not remember all of it? I can only remember about the 6th dimension, Totality, Justice Doom war, JSA crossover and the recent Death Metal issues. Can't remember any noteworthy character interactions. But I do know it's really, REALLY wordy.

I can't really remember it all that well either..
>Legion of Doom are out and about.
>Everyone has become a fish person. Ocean creatures from another Universe attack.
>Adventure in Hawkworld
>The Batman who Laughs.
>Journey to the Sixth Dimension.
>Justice League fight Doom.
>Year of the Villain(?)

Snyder's entire career has involved great artists salvaging some value from his shit writing. JL was no different

Why is Snyder so popular if people hate him?

where are her organs?

HRT

People really can't look past the first arc.

Honestly, all things considered, Snyders was pretty decent too. People are far too critical of stuff that doesn't really matter.
>inb4 hurr consumerist shilll etc

at least from an art standpoint, I find Jorge Jiminez to be kind of a boring choice. Yes it's kinetic, but it's kinetic house-style. I think someone like Francis Manapul would've been better-suited for the majority of the run rather than some select issues.

I agree. People will find something they don't like and magnify it to the point where anything that isn't 10/10 is shit. I've seen anons hate runs and shows before they come out. Sometimes it turns out to be really good and they either continue to hate it or pretend they never did.

Or even worse, they like it anyway, but like something else more and have to shit all over the first comic because it's not Morrisons JL run from 30 years ago.

the people that defend this are people that subscribe to A list characters and that is all, they don't actually read comics, they just read characters. I hope they go away cause there are far better comics out there and no one should read this shit

I read almost every comic out and Death Metal is a great capeshit blockbuster.

I think you are trolling, cause DC has a history of underground or corner stuff that is so much better than the main Batman and Superman shit. it's why the evergreen is not that

Yes yes we understand that you've read past Batman and Superman. Very special. We get you like Sandman. Very unque.

>Sandman
oh how presumptuous of you, to think I haven't read Destiny: A Chronical of Tales Fortold, or Madame Xanadu, or Sandman Mystery Theater. You just outed yourself as a total pleb who doesn't actually read comics.

I hope you were just pretending to be retarded to get attention from me like I was from you. I was talking about capeshit, and then you list every retards top 10 Vertigo recommendations. What next, Shade the Changing Man?

Shade is fantastic. Why do you be an idiot and stick to one or two characters in the DC universe? Stop only following Superman and Batman and actually read GOOD comics. Follow creators, follow what critics say instead of what DC whats you to buy. this is grade school advice...what the fuck are you doing here?

You're a smelly little projecting retard, y'know. Why would enjoying Justice League mean I only read Superman and Batman?

cause you don't care about good books, you just care about JL and character books. The best books from DC have never been the mainline books, those are just meh at best, the best books were always the outsiders.

Post your 12 issues of Hellblazer with timestamp.

I don't like how Jimenez draws faces it's clear that he can't handle DC deadline

I'm not hunting for the /shelf/ picture right now but god damn, why are you so fucking insecure? This is The Dreaming and not Hellblazer but I bought Vol 1 as well...it just wasn't offered soon enough

>Mr & Mrs X
>Only just got the Metabaron
>TPB instead of HC
>No timestamp
>No Hellblazer
Never gonna make it lol

We already KNEW that Cereal Lord Was A Mistake
We discovered that most men named Snyder Are Hacks

>>Mr & Mrs X
I love Rogue
>>Only just got the Metabaron
this is the second cycle that is pretty recent, but I got the oversized version that is very rare
>>TPB instead of HC
what? There is nothing there that is in TPB that can be gotten in HC. You are a fucking troll by this alone
>>No timestamp
fuck you poser, you already showed that you don't actually care about comics
>>No Hellblazer
another photo that I don't have to share with you cause you are a fucking idiot at the Nth level. God to fucking bed

>Complains about people buying books based on characters instead of creators
>"I love Rogue"
oh i'm laffin

p.s. pic related is also trash, but you'd never buy that.

Rogue has had more character development than Superman or Batman or Wonder Woman combined.

also fuck you I like Avengers academy

>Rogue has had more character development than Superman or Batman or Wonder Woman combined.
Okay, who's trolling who now

idk why you are argueing but it's always been clearly known that X-Men have gone through more changes than any other superhero franchise and Rogue is one of the most consistently well written characters.

Starting to think you never read any comics besides batman.

Guess my top 5 comics for memes

no, you don't get to make me work for you, you lazy ass. Man up and actually make discussion, instead you've been pussying out on every account just sidestepping shit and not actually saying anything. Man the fuck up or get out

You walked into a capeshit thread and have made not a lick of sense the entire time, so I've had you give me (You)'s the entire time. Nobody gives a fuck whether you've read every early Vertigo ongoing, or that you don't like blockbuster capeshit. You can enjoy the latest issue of Justice League and pick up Darwyn Cookes Parker Martini Edition. Stop being a faggy little hypocrite, criticizing others for not picking up good titles when you're buying trades of coomer X-Men shit from 5 dollar book bins.

Jorge Jimenez's art is wasted in continuity stories

>capeshit
most of the stories I have talked about have BEEN capeshit, get over yourself, you just don't look at the wider DC universe and have boxed yourself in. I feel sorry for you

Jimenez's art is the only good thing about that run.

Snyder needs to stop trying to write big stories, he's best on small scale shit.

I don't feel for you at all.
Now, I'm gonna go read my Grell GA omnibus in bed while you project away.

I can enjoy bad and mediocre comics. Not like most anons that make threads complaining about comics they hate and probably shouldn't be reading if they don't like it so much. If I don't like something then I ignore and pay attention to stuff I do like.
