was it really that bad?

Didn't get to it yet. Is it about population control (rabbits breeding like low IQ people) or gun control, where rabbits are the weapon?
yes it was
The latter.
The anime sequence was fun as hell, as was shit like Nora going full Scientology.
It was a good bit.
Was the bunny dealer a parody of a specific guy?
It wasn't good but the sheeting it causes makes up for it.
No.
yea
I was thinking of him but that would make no sense giving he's a hardcore dem
>character is named Dwayne
Checks out.
It's basically explained at the end. B(G)un Control, there are too many unregulated high capacity auto/semi-auto b(g)uns.
Honestly, I didn't notice the gun analogies in this episode until like a third of the way in
Nah, it was fun. Compared to something like skeleton remote it wasn't even all that preachy or anything. It's more like they just really wanted the pun.
Damn. I thought I was slow for noticing only after they mentioned the constitution.
>owning multiple buns will make you feel safer against other owners of multiple buns
this was dumb but it's satire so I don't really care too much
I'm honestly not sure why this episode is so hated
Satire is supposed to be smart.
So are politicians, but Trump was elected.
Nothing about this episode made for good analogy, nor an interesting take. it's like the writers were so proud they figured out that bun and gun both end in un, they forgot to make it make sense
It literally implies it in the title.
the buns were cute :3
They're intentionally trying to badly re-create a '90s aesthetic, and it's shit.
I liked most of the Warners segments but this one was painfully unfunny. Buns=guns never landed, not even when they lampshaded it. People seem to like it for the anime fight sequence but that should have been it's own seperate segment.
>So are politicians
Since when?
What I find most disturbing and ominous is the anti-russian bits. It's like we're back in the Hillary timeline where war with Russia was the plan and the reason why everyone voted against her. And the whole Russian meddling in the election is dubious at best, there was never any proof yet the show pushes it as a fact.
Also, notice how there wasn't a single anti-chinese bit in the show, which I could chuckle at maybe. China OWNS your ass. And the show probably didn't include any jokes about them because it doesn't want to be banned from that lucrative market. Don't you find all of that cynical, sad, and just... slimy?
And the cherry on top is that the show doesn't need any of that. Just like no other show needs it. It's just pure poison and the reason why I no longer watch US media. Well, for more than ten years now. It's all rotten to the core and harmful to the viewer.
When satire isn't funny its just condescension
It wasn’t clear in its message so yes it was bad, also it went a very one sided way. Sadly OK KO did a better job than this that’s how bad it was.
sneed
if you take out the anime part
youtube.com
its show how terrible the reboot is
I love the butthurt.
came here to post this
tfw my dumbass thought by buns they meant butts, and this was talking about how much cartoons can get away with.
>So are politicians, but Trump was elected.
guarantee this was posted by someone who only started paying attention to politics in the last four years
>Episode mocking gun owners.
Maybe I should pick this up
I skipped the title slightly because I skip the intros
BUNNYMACHINES, Yakko. They harden in response to physical trauma
