I'm gonna lose my grandma tomorrow. She had a heart attack that put her in a coma, and now she's on a respirator. I'm not too upset about it though, she lived to be 90, has been married for 70 years, and didn't want to live long enough to suffer anyway. Yes, I am absolutely going to miss her, but at least I know she's going out peacefully.
My grandma lived to be 96 and losing her was still hard but then I lost my dad less than a year later and it was absolutely devastating so be sure to get close to your parents at this time.
I’m so sorry, OP. I know it must still hurt. Treasure your memories and make sure you tell her you love her. I never got to do the same for my grandparents.
Mine died to cancer on Jan 1st 2015 at 12:01 am. Next morning I was bright and sunshine until my uncle said "n-no, not today." Anyone else affected by their loved one's death but still be happy the next day? I do miss my grandma and can't listen to Coldplay's Viva La Vida without crying about her.
No, you realize people move on. Sure, its hard, but having an positive attitude is never a bad thing, your uncle is just a bitch. Your gram wasnt in pain anymore and thats what matters.

I got drunk with my buddy the night after mine died and I was fucking cracking up in the drive through at McDonald's from insisting that he order me a "McSandwich" but it was just that it was nice to have a break from the intensity of the whole experience.

Good luck, user. Haven't lost mine, but I hope your grandma is comfortable for the moment.

OP, your mother's a nice woman but your grandmother's a whore and she sucked my wiener until I saw her teeth in my butthole.

I want your grandmother to be saved, although since she is on a respirator, the chances of her survival are uncertain, but we will pray for your grandmother's recovery. Hold on, too, here's a picture of one of the best cartoon and comic grandmas ever, Grandma Duck.
