Yes. Next question.

yeah but they wont air it for some reason. you'll have to go to kisscartoon or something

yep its fantastic
fuck off poorfag is on hbo max

made a thread on /t/ with episodes if anyone if interested

Season 1 felt a bit rushed, but that's mostly because it was written with a full show in mind.
Season 2 knew they only got 10 episodes, so the pacing turned out much better
Season 3 I'll need to watch again to really gauge my opinions on

Yes, you should watch it.

I think season 3 gets better and better upon reflection. Grace and Simon are both wonderfully written characters.

This is the truth:
season one:good, required for season two
season two: amazing, top tier stuff
season three: worst, but it doesn't screw up anything major, would still tune in for a season four
Anything else is a blatant lie from autistic fans.

bump

for sure

The duality of user.

I didn't even watch it, I just looked for porn of that cat

Yeah duh

So good it got cancelled because it was too dark.

Yes but Season 1 is bad

1 no
2 yes
3 no

Season 1 is fun in its own right.

But I feel like season 1 and 3 would have benefited from having two more episodes each.

I'm a huge fan of the series, but I'll just be repeating what people have said in this thread so far, but with more detail, and personal opinions....

Book One: This is my favorite, so far, and is the least scary and most light hearted of the three books that have come out so far. (The series are referred to as "Books" and the episodes are "Chapters") The protagonist learns about friendship, and empathy, and comes to realize that certain things happen for a reason, and that certain situations are beyond their control, and they are not to blame.

Book Two: Almost as good as Book One, but I prefer Book One more. I don't know why, though. The new protagonist (Who we met briefly in Book One) is a fugitive on the run. She meets up with a lonely boy who tries to please everybody because he just wants a friend, and to be liked. At first she doesn't want to be friends with him because she's on the run and doesn't trust anybody, but as the book continues the two form a strong unbreakable bond. Also there is a magic deer that helps both of them on their journey, and he's actually pretty cool. This book is a bit darker than the first one, and there's two deaths, but the deaths are justified. Again there are lessons about empathy, and, most importantly, true friendship and loyalty.

Book Three: This is the darkest book so far, and there is a LOT of controversy over this. In fact, some might say it's the worst of the three, so far, but it's still worth watching from start to finish.

Two main villains that we met in Book Two are two out of the three main characters this book focuses on. The other is a little girl who, for some reason turns into a turtle when she cries and becomes sad. This book focuses on false friendships, lies, and betrayal, but, as with the first two books, there is a focus on friendship and empathy as well. Again there are deaths, some deserved, some not deserved.

>Continued from
As I said, there is a lot of controversy over this book, and people either love it or hate it, and those who love debate on who was the worse villain, and did the villain who died deserve to die, and in such a manner.

One can go to thread where this is being hotly debated, but you might want to watch Book Three from start to finish in order to understand what people are talking about.

Ideally you should watch all three Books in chronological order.

This show commands a fierce loyalty with many people contributing their own fan art.

This isn't my fan art, but it's a personal favorite of mine because, as crude as it is, whoever drew this drew it from the heart.

season one gets a pass because it's required to fully appreciate season 2, it's also nowhere as bad as season 3, its only real defect was pacing.

Hopefully they'll run it on CN like they did with the first two books. It sucked that only fans in the U.S. got to see it.

First of all HBO Max isn't available internationally. Ever think about that?

Also, any people don't want to subscribe to HBO Max. Some of us are on a budget. What with the economy being in bad shape, and people losing their jobs because of Covid-19 HBO Max might not be an option for many of us.

Some of us don't know how to torrent, but thanks anyway. Perhaps somebody will post a mega link?

Yeah, I hate both Simon and Grace, so I have to agree that they were well written. (You're never supposed to cheer the villain(s) anyway)

Don't believe the lies. It didn't get cancelled. Tere are too many loose ends and unanswered questions. It will be back. There will be a Book Four.

Would you care to repeat that, please?

Another thing a lot of people don't like about Book Three, and I feel this is a legitimate complaint, is the fact it feels incomplete and unfinished with quite a few unanswered questions. For instance, while we know why Grace became a bad person, we are not sold exactly why Simon turned out the way he did. Nor do we really get a full explanation what lead to the falling out between Simon and the white cat. (Who's name, BTW, is Samantha) And what about the Turtle girl? (Who's name is Hazel) Where did she really come from? How did she get on the train? What's her back story? And what about her sidekick, Tuba, the talking purple gorilla? Same questions abound? And if you watch Book One, you'll get the old lady's back story, (Amelia, BTW) but will she raise Hazel, and help her get off the train? Will she finally find peace, and be able to let go of her past? And will Grace realize the errors of her ways, and turn over a new leaf?

This is why I hold out hope for a fourth book.

If a Book 4 does happen, there'll be much less of a dark tone to make HBO happy.

Yes, Tulip and MT are very cute and fuckable

I'm not one of the 40 people you replied to, but I am a generous soul so I will teach you.

*blushing emoji* I made an oopsie heehee

Season 1 had a few things working against it
Most viewers can figure out what the number is about way before Tulip, and the mystery isn't that exciting after we do
Tulip didn't have any "real" characters to interact with. One-One and the Corgi can't pull interesting interactions. That is why The Chrome Car is one of the best episodes of season 1, beacuse Tulip and MT can have interesting interactions

Still worth the watch for the silly moments, and sense of whimsey, but I agree that the other two books had more depth in the interaction department.

Don't spout stuff out of your ass as if those were fact.

the reason they could go with a darker vibe is precisely because they switched to HBO.

>One-One and the Corgi can't pull interesting interactions.
I disagree.

I meanN its probably pretty fun for kids.
I couldn't imagine how emberassing it would be to watch it as an adult though.

Yes.
Season 2 > 3 > 1, but they're all good.

Actually, a lot of content is a bit to dark and scary for children, and it's actually written in such a way that adults can (And do) watch it. I certainly wouldn't recommend that anybody under the age of nine watch it. Especially Book Three.
