They couldn't figure out the title for the song?
Halloween. Nothing about it really evokes the warm cozy feeling of Christmas.
Halloween. It makes no sense to watch it during the Christmas time because half of it revolves around Halloween which would have already ended by that time. At least if you watch it during the Halloween season, you still have both Holidays to look forward to.
What if you want a spooky Christmas?
Corpse Bride > Nightmare before Christmas
Better story
Better music
Better movie
Okay, contrarian.
It's a Christmas movie
You're fundamentally wrong, retard.
It doesn't really revolve around Halloween though, it's just Halloween themed characters in a plot revolving around Christmas.
I'm not
It's kind of like Die Hard when you think about it.
Corpse Bride is a beautiful bittersweet story, full of depth; tragic, romantic, and soulful. TNBC is a colorful stop motion romp. You can like TNBC more, some prefer colorful romps, but asserting that it's a superior piece of fiction suggests an infantile brain. Preferring TNBC seems to be more conformist than preferring CB contrarian. It's also a nostalgia thing. I also watched TNBC first and I'm not claiming it's a bad movieāit's a great movie. But Corpse Bride is simply a better story
meet in the middle
it's a thanksgiving movie
It's a hot topic movie, why do all ironic goth kids force themselves to like it? I say that because I love it and I'd ask these kids growing up what they liked about it and they'd just say the skull was cute. I was disappointed.
We can live like Jack and Sally if we want
Where you can always find me
And we'll have Halloween on Christmas
And in the night, we'll wish this never ends
We'll wish this never ends
So what do YOU like about then?
I don't want to come off like so I'll keep it short. I like the aesthetic, songs, message, and how the movie acknowledges how Jack is pretty is a dingus but with good intentions, despite this he still gets his come upping's and grows. A fun film that always makes me wonder about what the fuck is behind the other holiday doors in the beginning.
You know what's interesting to me about the movie is that despite its popularity with Hot Topic kids, the movie's aesthetic really isn't like that at all. You'd expect Jack to be a lot edgier for example but he isn't really, he's flamboyant if anything.
