M3U8s have been dead ever since RT switched to a new back end. For those without First memberships you can wait 30 minutes for new episodes to be uploaded to the MEGA (see pastebin)
So apparently leddit is hosting another AMA with Rivas Myers and the illustrator for Fairytales of Remnant about the book in question tomorrow... anyone interested?
Two bucks that Ozpin burried the crown under Beacon and put Pyrrha’s soul there to guard the relic.
Andrew King
Not the writers for the show so slightly less reason to care. Anything interesting that may come of it?
Alexander Wilson
How the fuck would he do that? He died before Pyrrha did.
William Allen
>It's not like it can't exist it's more like what was the fucking point. Well honestly if they wanted to do it, at least in my opinion more coherently, it could have been used to show how the violent turn that the White Fang took only served to not only destroy the organization itself but the people involved. Violence begets violence is a cliche for a reason. People have started to turn around and declare it a childish trope but very specifically in regards to things around civil rights, the violent strains of it went horribly with the people involved engaging in horrific self destruction. Some of it, of course, set on course by the FBI but there is too many examples of people just falling apart.
Easton Martin
>Eddy >Not a writer for a show user... I wish
Michael Collins
Neither.
She would have chickened out and lost Jaune somehow.
Owen Myers
Nah, but if Jaune vs. Cinder happens can we have Cinder hallucinating Pyrrha as an angel? I'd dig that.
>People have started to turn around and declare it a childish trope My personal theory for why this happens, is that people far too often point to examples of violence working, without any care or thought to the people committing that violence.
You can kill evil people, to save people, but still come out the other end broken and fucked up if you are not doing it for the right reasons or taking care of yourself.
Kayden Johnson
Magic, don't gotsa explain shiet
Brayden Davis
I feel like it's between Adam hate and the faunus plotline being bad. People complained forever about the racism not being shown enough to justify the white fang, blake hiding her ears, or characters acting like it was a big deal. Maybe they felt it was easier to go the boyfriend route. they also tried to play him as a power hungry narcissist for a bit with him killing Sienna and the song lionize.
Thomas Richardson
>I understand your pain, but you demand of me that which I cannot make so. Life and death are part of a delicate balance.
Nah, after the Beacon situation calmed down and Jaune made his moves he would've landed a tall amazon gf with nice tits. They would've fucked a few times on the road. By now we'd be facing a teen pregnancy sub-plot.
Adrian Allen
If you squint it kind of makes sense, Sienna's philosophy of might makes right inevitably results in people like Adam taking it to the extreme, but everything about the writers' political beliefs and their weird hangups about Adam specifically make me really doubt that that's what they intended to portray.
Parker Gutierrez
>What if I exchange my life for hers? Would that keep the balance?
>about Adam specifically make me really doubt that that's what they intended to portray. I know for a fact that's not what they intended to portray. Them describing the White Fang as Black Panthers showed that in its entirety.
But it is fucking hilarious that they, even unintentionally, kind of followed the blueprint for how that shit falls apart.
Brody Collins
So what are the chances Salem's grimm veins are from experimenting on her own body and not her body finally falling apart?
This the point where Jaune would be "accidentally" knocked out.
William Hall
you'll find someone one day
Michael Baker
> Jaune goes for a decisive attack > Cinder hallucinating Pyrrha along with him, charging for the attack
Anyway, with Grimmder, Emerald and probably Neo going after Ruby’s group, does it mean will we have Jaune, Yang and Ren vs Tyrian, Hazel and Mercury at the whale?
Jose Wright
But magic is not real
Justin Howard
What do you mean?
Parker Martin
Pyrrha would have distanced herself, becoming obsessed with the idea that she has to do something having failed to get the maiden power at Beacon and that getting together with Jaune will only end with him heartbroken when she becomes the other kind of maiden.
Alexander Lopez
By who? That trade is a fucking steal.
Xavier Cruz
SAVE MA FARM BOY
Brayden Scott
The problem with Adam was the same problem with the entire WF and faunus plot: in the end they made it much larger than what they had in mind, meaning it was never able to fit together with the Salem plot, and they never really fully committed to the civil rights issues they brought up. In the end, everything about these elements were never given the room to stand on their own feet and ended up only mattering when it came down to how it affected Blake.
I honestly believe that Adam was originally intended to be a violent extremist who was genuinely fighting for the cause, but as the series went on it got lost in all the problems the faunus story had. They made him a crazy ex because they didn't know what to do with the WF after a certain point.
V5 felt like they were really trying to cement this characterization, but the way they went about it was received so badly that his personal trailer felt more like damage control than anything else. Then in V6 it felt like they were trying to put everything about the WF behind them with his death because they knew how much dead weight it was for the show.
Why knocks him out. Honestly the GoL would probably take that deal unless destiny was in effect.
Carson Torres
>DPS for a healer Nah
Luis Cook
my god
Levi Garcia
By the rules of drama, Arkos would be endgame big time.
Eli Edwards
>That trade is a fucking steal. Honestly, aside from being kind of a thing to throw at the enemy, Pyrrha is kind of useless.
The things that have fucked RWBY and JNPR haven't actually been powerlevels. Yes there have been major losses, but the entirety theme of the villains is divide and conquer.
Blake Carter
Thye were confirmed to be an age thing. Salem mught not age physically but as a result of the Grimmifcation she has the worst crows feet ever.
Nah, Tyrian will have been sent to bail Watts out since they were bros during the Atlas op. Mercury will be stuck on the whale for a little bit and Hazel will still beat Oscar. Otherwise YJR have to find a way around Salem.
Ian Flores
Death is a concept invented by the Jedi, I don't even know how to spell it. Jaune, no! This could be our one chance to get rid of Blake! That you coof-user? You doing okay?
>By the rules of drama Pyrrha would die, realizing what a mistake she made and Jaune would end up with some smol titty farmgirl and the lesson would be to realize what you have in the moment.
Xavier Campbell
Thips confirm.
Nathaniel Ross
>An age thing for a character that doesn't age and whose body resets whenever they take damage Silly.
How would he know, he’s only had his brother for how long
Jaxon Wilson
Mercury would be an easy win. Hazel vs JYR would be overkill and Hazel would have the home advantage + his sheer autism.
Andrew Flores
Right but depending on who knocks him out, it could result in a dead Jaune.
Jace Jackson
I wish we had more semblances like Tock's.
Luis Powell
>it could result in a dead Jaune. At this point, I don't think anything short of a nuke could kill his ass.
Jason Rogers
Nah. The final I want >>> a realistic final.
Adrian Moore
Maybe if they got the actual writers
Jaxon Lewis
Shut up Ren.
Grayson Long
Redundant ones? Time based ones? Tiger & Bunny as a Huntsman duo?
Zachary Gomez
Nothing Ren said was wrong. Yang told Ruby things were bad under her, but things have only gotten worse and now Yang is acting like their choices were all great and this is normal. So which is it? Could they have done better, or could things not possibly be any better?
Aiden Flores
"All-in" ones, I guess
Jeremiah Garcia
Merc probably would fold like paper, yes. Hazel vs YRJ would be something they couldn't afford to start given that Salem in onboard and she doesn't fuck around, the moment that she senses something is amiss on her whale, she'll move to correct it. Its Halls of Reflection all over again.
Alexander Watson
That looks kinda Voltron like. Poor Lance, by the way.
Grayson Ramirez
Nah, plenty of things could kill him. Bullshit aura and regen aside, its not like he is invincible. Durable sure but he's up against people that could reduce a building to rubble and tank getting impaled and be up in no time at all.
Kayden Diaz
For better or worse, the faunus subplot was effectively retconned, besides some passive-agressive shit here and there. The point is racism never existed, not even on Atlas.
