People who hate space marines are just the I’m not like other girls of the 40k fanbase prove me wrong.
hahaha fpbp
Found the Xeno.
Its amusing people act like space marine wanking is bad when its basically been the thing carrying the setting.
We should be getting some eldar animation from games workshop coming soon.
>nooo, you can't just dislike the generic as fuck big mclargedude spesh men army GW keeps endlessly fellating
Space Marines are the least interesting faction in the Imperium of Man, and arguably in whole of 40k. At least chaos marines have some actually intriguing potential when it comes to converting and modelling due to all the mutations and shit, but spesh muhreens are all the fucking same, with just some extra shit tacked on like robes, fursuits, or angel wings or some shit.
Orks are the best faction solely due to the incredible room for conversions, creativity, and sheer fun you can have when you model your plastic little bois.
Picture related, it is my work in progress Morkanaut, with a dabbing ork lad for size comparison.
>inb4 whining from faggots that don't even collect miniatures.
Your opinions on 40k are irrelevant.
I personally think fanboys marine wank harder than GW does. Look at any official thing or cinematic of 40k. Marines typically like....die at least. This short I am not even sure the marines die even when they got ambushed and they took down 2 psykers with combat knives.
I've actually been working on ideas for a Necron based short. Not completely solidified on an idea, but I wanted to do something with Deathmarks.
From a complete outsider to 40K, the blue alien guys have a cool aesthetic.
Too bad they are one of the most hated factions within the fandom and are in a terrible spot rule wise in the actual game.
Plate armor's easy to animate.
>tfw you best thing you've gotten as a Tyranid fan from the 40k sphere was the Behemoth fan series by the TTS crew
Genestealer Cults being brought back was nice at least, but I wish the bugs got a bit more respect from the fans and GW
Well yeah you need a reason beyond 'muh generic' otherwise it sounds like you're just on a bandwagon. I don't like Ultramarines because the tone of their lore contradicts the lore of the wider Imperium. I don't like Black Templars because they try to be edgy special snowflakes. I don't like Space Wolves because they're furries, etc.
And I'm saying this as an Ork main. And I still put them above Taufags(muh greater good), and Guardfags(muh balls o steel).
And since we're posting models, proof I'm an ork player. The last nob I made
I would like to see something about Necromunda the inquisition or the Imperial guard, at least these aren't ultrasmurfs ....
But they are generic, in the sense that they are just big dudes in power armor, fighting aliens and chaos in space. The combination of over saturation in both 40k media and the models, has basically led to a situation where there is nothing new under the sun with the space marines, their differences and "character" boil all basically to just aesthetics, not to mention that the "character" in question of any given chapter is usually god awful bad, because they take themselves way too seriously for how fucking silly they are. Chief examples being blood angels (space vampires that brood over their blood rage thing), and space wolves (viking furries in space).
In the lore the most interesting potential of the space marines is in their relations with other factions of the Imperium, like the Admech, the IG, or the inquisition etc. I am personally fan of Deathwatch precisely because of this reason as they are far more interesting as a concept than any individual space marine chapter is.
On the tabletop in turn, they are the easily the least interesting faction to fight against, right after Tau gunlines that is, which is a shame given that their range arguably would allow for pretty neat and experimental armies, if the models were actually costed right in terms of points, (and obviously stats), but alas, GW wants to sell tons of marines so despite them supposedly being an elite army with few but powerful warriors, most marine players I have faced just have tons of marines because that is the optimal way to play.
>tl;dr Spesh muhreen lore = cringe and gay, spesh muhreens on the tabletop = stale and dull to fight
Based
Inquisitors are the second most important faction of the setting.
I love the idea of Gork and Mork being Dorks.
>that lamenter getting dunked on by orks
I mean just making the space marines talk would have added a lot, could have them talking with non-Astartes humans even,
Let's not kid ourselves, all the aliens are jokes, no match for the superior humans, even the warp likes humans better than aliens
Based 'ardlad
May he cleave many umies, knife ears, and what have you non-orks into bits.
Me too but the Nids have been fodder since Cruddace took them over. They exist to prop up everyone else and make them look good. Here's your pyrovore and your non-apocalypse Trygon with toughness modified to 6 so lasguns can kill it, stop your whining.
cost money
