The opening was fucking amazing
What the hell happened to Egon's hair?
The first two seasons were amazing and have aged will. Show goes to shit after they fired Lorenzo Music.

You had one job.
Looks interesting. I'll check it out.
>Real Ghostbusters had an episode with c'thulhu
>Extreme Ghostbusters had an episode with the cenobites
Which did it better?
Both of them are good.
If it was Lorenzo Music, then yes
If it was Uncle Joey, then no
I picked up the "100 Episode" DVD set from Wallmart for $10 around Halloween and have been working my way through it.
Some thoughts:
>It's one of the scariest looking cartoons on TV for the time.
>Hallucinogenic phantoms, crazy looking ghouls, ghosts, demons and fucked up shit is always flying around New York
>The Ghostbusters feel like they have chemistry. It's totally PG but there are a couple of really good one-liners from Venkman.
>Slimer is a little Jar-Jar Binks, but he's not in every episode.
>It's entertaining to see them come up with new situations.
Yes. One of the few American cartoons made in the 80s that wasn't pure garbage.
First 2 seasons are legit
You watch those and Extreme and you're solid
Best episode.
>Written by Babylon 5 guy
Why did I think this was King of the Hill when not zoomed in?
I miss Lorenzo Music so much.
I remember when the other Ghostbusters thought Ray was showing Slimer porn.
The first two seasons only.
What episode?
As everyone says, first two seasons (which total like 75 eps or so) are fucking great. Animation is a mess at times but whatever. Then the network got involved and ruined everything. There's a couple of decent eps after that but it's mostly not worth watching.
>Slimer is a little Jar-Jar Binks, but he's not in every episode.
Slimer's fine, at first. Just you wait until you get to season 3 and beyond.
omg
I just remember it had a literal HP Lovecraft episode? And this was like in '87-'88?
what did the network do
This is the actual reason Ghostbusters got popular. The movie was a hit sure but kids loving the cartoon so much is what made it a pop-culture mainstay. this is sadly forgotten.
Also Bill Murray got Loenzo Muzik fired because he sounded like Garfield then voiced garfield himself.
what the fuck
