Its Superman's first year as Superman...

Its Superman's first year as Superman. Lex Luthor funds an anti Superman army and supplies them with anti kryptonian weapons and does experiments on people making Metallo, Livewire, Captain Atom, and Bizzarro.
Side missions are a bunch of Mxyzptlk shenanigans including hiding shit, time based races, and powering up random thugs while you stop procedurally generated crimes. There are other boss fights with one or two dedicated to guest villains like Reverse Flash or Poison Ivy. Someone who makes sense going against superman.

DLC is a prequel showing his adventures as Superboy and as a legion of superheroes member.

Its not that hard and I'm not even thinking too deep. I'm just a DCfag

Few things OP about your shitty edit
>PS2 resolution buttons and simplistic layout
>Logo resolution doesn't match the rest of the "screenshot"
>Reeves face

Get better bait

Its not mine. I'm just tossing around how a superman game might work

Gameplay user...gameplay.

Why did faggots complain about the New 52 costume? It was kino.

The controls for Ace Combat work. Superman doesn't have to punch though it will be a tertiary attack button for the boss fights. When he's stopping these street crimes he will have to use heat vision, x-ray vision, or freeze breath

Have it play like the superpowers in Saints Row 4 or the mods in GTA5. Everybody loves blasting around a big city at warp speed. Just make a game that's actually about that.

He specifically didn’t say it was real

I especially like the bright scarlet of the belt against the blue. And the black House of El on his cape

Because it’s absolute fucking garbage and Superman wears cotton and trunks not armor with no trunks

>alright here's my great idea for a superman game everyone has kryptonite weapons and it just plays like ace combat but with superman instead of a jet
Do you really REALLY think this sounds good at all?

Kryptonian armour>Ma Kent's best sewing

Slight off topic but I like the idea that on Krypton Clark is a normal shlub but guys like Zod and Faora are trained in Kryptonian martial arts. The idea that there are people that can outmatch Superman specifically because he was raised on a farm.

Everything sounds bad if you dumb it down like that, fat nerd complaining about fictional characters on a kamikaze training forum. And to answer you... Yes.

>he needs armor because it’s cooooool
>he doesn’t know how to fight like trained warriors cause he never trained just farmed
You legit don’t know shit about Superman, go watch another comic book movie faggot.

I understand the aesthetic and purpose of the classic costume. I just don't think the Kryptonian armor is *that* out-of-character. It looks cool and makes sense in context.

Also didn't they have to make up some telekinesis bullshit to explain why his OG costume doesn't get ripped to shreds constantly?

Like i said its an idea. Not canon. An idea I like.

What if it was a Superman game where he starts off with no powers a la Kingdom Come or Superman at Earths end or The Return of Superman. And its a depressed bitter superman who has to get a spunky youngster to get him back to normal so he can defeat President Tru- Luthor. I mean President Luthor.

You guys haven't played the Avengers game or watched The Last Jedi right?

Loosely adapt Superman up in the sky. That way we can visit other planets and fight characters like Orion and Darkseid in New Genesis/Apokalips, Atrocitus and Lar Fleeze in in their homeworlds, Adam Strange and Hawkman during the Rann-Thanagar war while exploring both planets are war with each each other, Fight your way up in a gladiatorial ring to fight Mongol in Warworld. Metropolis will obviously be the starting point with Toyman, Parasyte and Metallo as its villains. DLC can be Braniac. Gameplay will be like MGR:R.

Did any of you play DBZ kakarott?

super bad thread

>no powers a la Kingdom Come
That didn't happen. He just stopped using them to help people thanks to the court ruling against him. It was the will of the people.

Lets see your thread bitch

It's absolutely out f character. It makes him a soldier. Basically he's Zod at that point.

Superman wearing cotton sewn by Martha (and later himself or Kelex) is what makes him approachable. Him being a clown to edgy batfags is absolutely how it should be. Red underwear and cotton with the little pills on it cause it's been washed in a washing machine.

Hey user sorry I called you that word. Its been a long day.

Love
Andy Nonamous

I did. It has its moments in terms of gameplay but quickly got repetitive. They should have let you fight on land

How would the Z trigger work? Or ninja run? I haven't read that story.

>Also didn't they have to make up some telekinesis bullshit to explain why his OG costume doesn't get ripped to shreds constantly?
Tactile telekinesis was more an explanation to his powers in general and how he can do things like catching a plane without just ripping a chunk of it off. However TT is more his clone's thing.
Having said that, the classic costume has often been made out of his infancy blankets and I think that's the best route. It says the material is alien like him but it was crafted into his suit by human hands, making the suit, like the man himself, a product of two worlds.

How does wearing traditional kryptonian garb whether its for combat or not make him any more or less approachable?

That would get boring real fast. Have Superman be god mode, your health bar is protecting citizens, buildings etc

Also play with stats like charisma, and have your choices around the game influence your standings with the common citizens. Too many buildings destroyed and not paying attention to saving citizens means you get a bad ending

Traditional kryptonian garb isn't armor anywhere but in MOS.

Traditional kryptonian garb is literally trunks or the cape worn as a toga type garb.

Lets see
>cape
>tights
>bright colors
Hmmm

Maybe they changed it for modern- oh nonononono

This is the second time in as many days that I've seen someone act like they were some brilliant detective for recognizing something as fanart when OP never claimed otherwise. What gives?

And definitely not armor.

>your health bar is the amount of negative or positive press you get from the daily planet
>specific newspapers spin into frame depending on if you meet qualifiers during the mission
>when all of humanity loses hope its mission over

Zig Forums.

Why would a Fucking scientist need armour?

>modern
While I agree with you that kryptonian armor is fucking stupid, Birthright is 17 years old.

If I can't punch the world into pieces, its a fail.
