Why they never did this ship? Both are fascist and awful people, but look how happy they are together
Captain Marvel and Iron Man
I can't believe I'm saying this but Slott covered this better than anyone else. Tony's still not happy being around Carol because he remembered what she did to him during Civil War II. But in all other comics he's Carol's punching bag and seems to have gotten over her effectively killing him.
All the avengers together are kinda awkward after all that happened in the last decade
Weren't they banging after Civil War when Tony became director of SHIELD?
No. Carol tried to seduce Maria Hill to get in her good graces and then Maria accused of her sleeping with Tony and it ruined the whole mood.
Carol is straight, user.
100% canon user.
Happened in Ultimate Marvel.
That's not seduction you stupid virgin
They saw the ugly in each other and they decided they didn't like it.
Now, I knew that some of you lames think that literally all character interaction is sexual, but this is fucking ridiculous. Someone should go to your door and make you run laps.
He was her AA sponsor, it would be weird.
Did she see his when she shoved her hand through his chest?
You don't fuck someone you see as a sister or brother figure.
Other books also acknowledge that he was trying to kill her. He just... lost to someone who he attacked.
So they should call it even and be done with it.
>implying
Tony was just trying to keep her from taking Miles and after a while he was just defending himself while she spent several pages beating on him. She had to be restrained after she destroyed his suit.
You're thinking of Ultimate
She did not have to be restrained.
His suit is entirely self healing. It can come back from being broken into nothing, its an upgraded bulky version of the model prime called marvel buster.
It's like fighting wolverine. You gotta keep going or he comes back with the claws.
And in realities where she stopped fighting, he came back and ended her.
She was out of control. They weren't rushing to them to help her beat up Tony.
Based murdercarol
More importantly, did anyone ever get directly in her face about fucking murdering Tony or is everyone still eating her out and calling her the greatest hero ever?
She got a medal for defending the Capitol because Tony was being a crazy terrorist moron
All that is still true no matter how much you want to suck Tony's dick
>Both are fascist and awful people
>I only read Civil War 1 and 2
Beast gave her some shit.
Beast has NO grounds to talk when he's throwing every Russian mutant in prison.
I'm talking about the superheroes who were sane enough to realize "Carol is obsessed with enforcing thought crimes to the point that she let Avengers die thanks to bad predictions" is something you need to stop. The US government in Marvel is run by genuine retards.
>things that didn't happen
Carol literally pouted when the precog kid ascended to Cosmic status and basically ignored that she had murdered Tony Stark until she had to help Holo-Stark out in the Arctic.
Everyone either praised her or forgot about what she did. At best the Outlaws criticize her but they lump her in with all the grown ups. I guess Marvel didn't want to make Carol someone nobody liked (more than usual) because of what happened to Tony after the first Civil War.
Not murder to kill a legitimate target user.
They were rushing because Ulysses told them her fighting tony on this would eventually make him do something horrible to her which would lead to a bad future when she would've been pushed too far by tony.
She wasn't restrained by Blue Marvel, she was floating in the air ready to go if he came back not really exerting force against him.
Tony was about as out of control as her, he shot missiles at cap and told her she failed to save him then.
I think he means this.
The 100% accurate prediction that unambiguously would've been worse had they not responded (including War Machine & She-Hulk dying anyway)?
I don't know why people are surprised that Carol would just straight up kill someone she could literally just yank out of a metal suit and toss in a cell. She was THE enforcer of the Superhero Act; her getting wet at the thought to stopping dissidents against American law is how she came back into modern comics.
