Were the Animaniacs right?

Was Chicken Boo really the most hated Animaniacs Character back in the day?

I always figured most people thought Katie Kaboom was worse

As for Katie, i actually loved it when a character gets so frustrated, they turn into a monster. But i didnt really understand the whole PMS aspect, so she just came off as antagonistic to me

Katie Kaboom was terrible, but I personally rarely cared for the Randy Beaman kid, either.

Chicken Boo was always one of the best segments. Anyone who says otherwise is objectively wrong.

Chicken Boo skits are short and to the point. Buttons and Mindy, Hip Hippos, Katie Kaboom, Rita and Runt and the Goodfeathers were miles worse and a complete waste of the animation budget.

Chicken Boo was actually funny, even if it was just the same joke over and over.

Hip Hippo's and Godfeather's were lame as hell though.

I thought Pinky and the Brain was the worst...at least after it spun-off. I always knew he'd fail to rule the world, and the cause was always something significantly insignificant.

I also remember changing the channel or doing something else every time i saw "Yes, Always", because i didnt get it yet.

Chicken Boo wasn't hated but he was the best option for the "pull off the mask for the big villain reveal" gag

I liked Chicken Boo, but his every bit ended with him being violently rejected, so him eventually going nuts kinda makes sense.

It's about the execution though.
The Hippos, Katie and also characters like Mindy were actively annoying. Chicken Boo may have been repetitive, but it worked as a simple goofy schtick.

I was never a big fan of the Rita and Runt segments back in the day because every time Rita burst into song they went on and on and on and the episode stopped dead. I haven't watched Animaniacs since I was a kid because no Hulu in my country, but I'd like to hope that now I'm not an ADHD-riddled little shit that if I were to watch it now I would enjoy Rita's singing.

The only characters I disliked were the Hip Hippos, there were fucking pointless, uninteresting, and unfunny. I see a lot of hate for Katie Kaboom and honestly I found those segments funny.
