It’s sad that the Hulk with starfish DNA got treated better than MCU Hulk
It’s sad that the Hulk with starfish DNA got treated better than MCU Hulk
This movie would've been remembered better if it didn't take that long for Hulk to appear.
I think the slower pacing worked really well for it.
I kind of like the melancholy aspect of the story's tone.
The editing was kinda weird though.
mcu hulk cant even heal
>The part where Bruce remembers his dad tucking him in at night as a kid, right as he lays dying after killing the guy
What a pussy
>Bruce dreaming about the day his mother died as his father recounts the events to Betty.
>gets bigger and stronger as he gets angrier
>instant healing after injuries
>no quips or words, just rage
This Hulk would've wiped the floor with the MCU
>>gets bigger and stronger as he gets angrier
See that’s always kinda sucked about MCU Hulk since getting stronger the madder he gets is the Hulk’s main thing,
The main theme is fucking kino

I remember so thinking that starfish shit was a weird way to start a Hulk movie
Very raw
Hulk themes in general are almost always great

>TAKE IT AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
>You cannot imagine, the unbearable finality of it...
>And in that one moment, I took everything that was dear to me, and transformed it. Into nothing more...
>...than a memory...
Not to mention by pure sizes alone this Hulk dwarfs MCU Hulk
Dammit I meant
One of best show intros I ever saw, tells you all you need to know, man becomes monster, can’t be with his loved ones because of it and is essentially fighting the world
>That episode that ended with everyone Hulk cared about telling him how much they hate him to piss him off enough for a drug killing him to wear off
>That episode where Sasquatch exiles himself on a piece of ice forever for getting a child hurt
It knew when to pull some pretty hard gut punches too.
Poor guy
Eric Bana Hulk was almost a psycho thriller of a movie, which I loved because it really suits the character.
>Hulk Dogs scene
>Bruce's kid trauma
Loved all of it. mcu campiness is great and all, a return to the feel of the comics, but dark and somber really elevated this film.
Holy shit, finally some recognition for the kino aspects of this movie. I admit it's really flawed but all those scenes mentioned give me chills
A movie that actually gave real depth to Bruce Banner's Mental state before and after He becomes the Hulk. A Greek tragedy between Father and Son that culminates in Bruce confronting his trauma and winning but ultimately losing his place in the civilized world by hiding in the jungle and walking the earth for the rest of his life. Truly Kino.
Damn, maybe I should watch it again.
bros i treat The Incredible Hulk as an unofficial sequel to it, anybody else do this?
You guys do know that Marvel legally can’t make another solo Hulk movie because Universal owns the film rights
Back when Hulk was fucking scary and considered a threat to everybody.
What the fuck happened?
I guess Thor:Ragnarok happened? That was the first time he was just straight up goofy. I woulda said Avengers but the scene where he hulks out on the flight and chases Black Widow through that engine room was pretty pants-shittingly terrifying imho
Always loved the dogs scene. Horrifying things.
And when he is fighting his dad and they go through clouds and the scene is captured in lightning flashes.
Btw was his father supposed to be Absorbing Man? I know nothing about Hulk lore.
Age of Ultron with the weird Black Widow romance shit
