Being nice or not showing any animosity is leagues different than a lack of respect, which I’m referring to. Charlie Brown wants to be more than what he is yet he’s still always seen as a blank faced in the crowd, some kid who fucks up most things he does. You mention his baseball team but one look at all the shit that happens during the baseball games and you realize his team doesn’t listen to anything he has to say while managing. And it’s not just Lucy. His catcher straight up says he’s gonna quit constantly, his out field is constantly fussing and ignoring the game. Charlie Brown All Stars sums it up perfectly
