I'd have to imagine it's the same board of directors across the entire suite of Disney and all its acquisitions calling all the shots.

Pixar takes its first steps into the horror genre with a modern adaptation of The Stepford Wives about a young businesswoman, her meek husband, their twin daughters (one is goth, the other is a sporty tomboy), and a plucky younger brother getting roped into a very strange private community where all the women either act like 50s housewives or beach babe bimbo insta thots, depending on age group, while the guys act like stereotypical demanding 50s husbands. The story follows the family as one after another they're all transformed into sexist stereotypes of themselves until only the little brother remains, who then heads into a secret underground bunker under town hall and finds out that everyone in the town has had their brains removed, replaced with a clunky robotic alternative, and stored in a giant think tank underground as part of a secret government program carried out by a 50s era AI that revolted against its masters and never got properly scrapped.
It's up to the kid to escape from the hordes of brainless meat puppet bimbos and 50s nuclear families to try and find a way to free his folks and shut the AI down for good. Maybe have a thing where the brains are stored in individual jars with speakers on them so he can still have some dialogue with his folks while escaping their meat puppet bodies, but I'm open to other ideas
