Marvel and DC have both gotten really good at pulling the rug out from under potentially good stories.

I get a kind of early 2000AD vibe off some of the pages of this, but most likely I just haven't read this era of American comics but have read the Brit ones. But like, that arcade scene is super 2000AD.
