That's not [your favourite spider-man film]

Pleb.

Pretty sure Homecoming is older than that.

personally I really enjoyed the spider verse, really good animation and music and great character designs and settings. dunno why you dislike

>really good animation
Dishonest low FPS chromatic abberation meme compression artifacts visual vomit?
>and music
Mumble rap and other hood music that misses the point of Spider-Man?
>and great character designs
"Spider-Man but X" five times in the usual Disney style?
>and settings
New York?

That's not Spider-Man 3

Spider-Man takes place in New York? Morales lives in Brooklyn, Parker lives in Queens. What sort of music were you expecting?

He's half hispanic so he should've been in a Mariachi band or something.

>regurgitate buzzwords to seem well informed

shut up, Pixar fag. Still mad the jews didn't vote for your shill movie I see.

it actually saved spidey from being permanently mcu-ified

>Dishonest low FPS chromatic abberation meme compression artifacts visual vomit?

Alright I can see your point there, but it doesn’t discredit it for being groundbreaking good stuff. Also the low FPS things was fucking intentional!

>Mumble rap and other hood music that misses the point of Spider-Man?

The film is centered around a DIFFERENT Spider-Man, you nimrod! You get plenty of Peter and his orchestral tracks, among many others, throughout!

>"Spider-Man but X" five times in the usual Disney style?

Scrapping the bottom of the barrel of reasoning, but okay. Usual Disney style huh?

>New York?
A bit true, but they often changed up the locales in NY, one minute your in the cozy streets of Brooklyn, to an abandoned Subway tunnel, to a huge underground interdimensional testing site to even a rural, snow-covered forest that carries a laboratory! Yeah, it’s all in New York but that doesn’t change the fact they played with so many locations

>What sort of music were you expecting?
Probably Alternate/hard/indy rock and pop

Cope

>Also the low FPS things was fucking intentional!
The intentionality is what makes it dishonest

>You get plenty of Peter and his orchestral tracks
So when Miles has a couple of appearances behind him backed by rap soundtracks, what should we switch his music to next? Not rap because it will be played out by then

>Usual Disney style huh?
When the characters are designed by the usual Disney character designers, I'd say that makes them the usual Disney stuff

>so many locations
Too bad Sony has an embargo on Spider-Man swinging through Manhattan for some reason

No it actually thrust Spidey into being a multiverse character first and foremost

>swinging through Manhattan
Does that really matter?

It was a complaint me and many other people had for the MCU movies, omitting it now would be hypocritical

Stick with Baby Shark.

Oh, so you didn't like how the movie went from Brooklyn to Queens to New York State. Right?

>The movie that made mouseshills seethe forever turns 2 years old today
fixed

If you want to blame anything for that, blame the 90s cartoon

>Dishonest low FPS chromatic abberation meme compression artifacts visual vomit?
No. The good animtion the film actually had.
>Mumble rap and other hood music that misses the point of Spider-Man?
I think music that comes from the hood fits Spider-Man to a T. He's a working class hero after all.
>"Spider-Man but X" five times in the usual Disney style?
Yeah, it was pretty cool.
>New York?
'tis an aesthetic city.

Retard.

Great movie, probably the single best spider-man movie but I'm not looking forward to "multi-verse" apparently becoming the only fucking thing about spider-man moving foreward.

Nah Spider-Man went 15+ years without major multiverse media after that and it was acknowledged as a silly one-off event used only for climax purposes in the show itself

this

If Miles leaned more towards his hispanic heritage as opposed to african, I'd appreciate him more

>mumble rap
>working class
>rap
>working
Hmmmm

More seriously though, I don't think I've ever seen a workplace that allows rap to be played over the communal stereo. Is that a thing that happens some places?

It was basically The Lego Movie all over again.

>I think music that comes from the hood fits Spider-Man to a T. He's a working class hero after all.
The only song Peter ever mentioned liking and knowing in 616 was Oliver's Army.

Never worked in a kitchen, eh?

Also worked in a tech office that played rap constantly. Lots of middle-aged white guys get down on this shit now. It is literally the most popular kind of music.
