How do you guys feel about a He-man reboot?

I want to make my interpretation of He-man that’s far more different and way more cooler. I never the 2018 She-rs because it looked faggy and didn’t help that the constant threads were shipping faggotry and constant bitching and complaining so it kinda made not watch it.

Only if they draw him like the current version of She-Ra and give me those sweet, sweet tears of impotent rage from the fanboys.

Shut up I hated she-ra bro.
It’s my vision user

It’s my vision also.
Fuck she-ra 2018.

Okay me too

Que trolazo

There's two he-man reboots on the way. It'll be funny if they end up making the fanboys even more mad by being more bland then the first reboot.

>been rewatching the 2002 He-Man reboot on youtube out of nostalgia
>mfw its literally perfect in every way

I've never seen a reboot make a series edgier AND respect the source material. Its so fucking good. It came out at the wrong time.

I think the 2012 He-Man comic run is what I'd do for a reboot, at least early on.

Hey, anyone wanna play a game?

All of these seem likely, but you left out "Teela becomes He-Man(somehow)"

I don’t know for my vision I kind of want He-man to be in the same vain as Berserk or something from Gainax or anything anime in general. And I wanted to be more dark and edgier and explore more of eternia. Like the origin of the sorceress and He-man and skeletor are related by blood but they don’t even know it yet up until the last season

Well, a reboot and a sequel series.

In some continuities Skeletor is Adam's uncle, so it's not that far fetched.

Not sure about the Sorceress, because that's Teela's mom and Teela is Adam's squeeze.

They'd probably censor his Iron Cross

I thought man at arms is just Teela’s family

Yes. And sometimes he only adopts her, I think.

Really? I thought she’s her biological daughter. I don’t know I’m not too keen on MOTU lore because I’m a filthy zoomie

In the two cartoons Teela is the Sorceress' daughter and she asks MaA to raise her cuz she's too busy doing goddess stuff.

And in those weird little minicomics its the same, except Teela is actually the Sorceress'...failed clone. Yeah...

Honestly if you don't make a He-Man reboot gay as fuck you're doing something wrong.

The lesbians got their turn with She-Ra, I say we're due for our own show.

Fuck off faggot.

Shut up you fucking fairy

>How do you guys feel about a He-man reboot?
Like you need to purge the entire cartoon industry of everyone in it before you ever dare attempting that. Be very careful what you wish for.

Only if they put it in the new She-ra universe and do a lot of retcons to rile up the nu-fans.

Also I hope it gets merch.

>Also I hope it gets merch.
This is the only reason this franchise exists.

Too late. We're already getting not one, but two of them next year.

>And in those weird little minicomics its the same, except Teela is actually the Sorceress'...failed clone. Yeah...
Yeah, that's "The Tale of Teela", where Skeletor reveals to Teela that he cloned the Goddess in a traumatic, nonconsensual procedure and then Man-at-Arms raised the baby clone. So Skelly is almost Teela's father by rape.

On the upside this means Teela will be a total milf.

the only thing that feels off are the obvious toy tie-ins

I'd like it if it was literally like the old show, character models traced and all but, with modern animation and taught campy modern lessons like respecting people online.

This.

Even the 2002 reboot had the moral lessons on each episode, and what was crazy is that they werent pandering or out of place. They were actually written with at least a modicum of grace and respect to the viewer.

I fear we will not get this in the new reboot.

part of me just wants Seth Green to make a Skeletor show.
