I don't know if Mignola is an asshole, and I generally like his art style, but the way Hellboy floundered and the "ending" being what it was because he couldn't finish a story generally pisses me off. Ton of wasted potential

I think people consider Mignola an asshole now because of Scott Allie

Mignola is an asshole on cons and you can see it a few times in his Facebook group. I get that people have a bad time, but he always seems triggered on signings when you reference his other stuff that's not Hellboy. Even The Amazing Screw-On Head. For a guy who is an indie artist with the arguably most well recognized character he acts very petty and ungrateful. Again, I get that people have their bad days, bit the more time goes buy, the more people with similar stories pop up.

The guy always goes on tirades how people keep going after him on Twitter because of x, and everytime I go and look up his replies it's literally just one guy he dug up, while the other comments that are noting but high praise.

Instead of talking shit about artists talk shit about studios, producers, coords, and managers... they're all hacks

Are we talking about writers too? I've had to unfollow so many of them because their social media was actively tainting my enjoyment of their work. At this point I think Scott Fucking Snyder is the only one left who I follow.

I can't stand Humberto Ramos. I don't care how reliable the fucker is you don't put someone with that quality on an A-list character like Spider-Man unless it's an emergency.

Villobos...it's so pathetic how he's obsessed with piskor's success, at least if they had been friends at some point it would imply there was a much larger falling out behind the scenes but as far as I can tell just the sight of Ed's work makes his hemmoroid's flare up for no reason
