I mean, rabbits do have a shitload of offspring because environmental factors cause a lot of them to die. Even if you remove those factors the rabbit biology is not going to prevent them from having lots of babies all at once, and without natural selection entire communities being exclusively rabbit-based makes sense.

nevermind that that kind of rapid population growth is unsustainable by any means. Sure, rabbits can have large litters and get killed in the wild, but as intelligent, logical creatures in zootopia, they should probably stop at one or two litters(5-15 kids per litter) and not have 100-1000 fuckin kids.
