I know everyone here hates it, but honestly Watchmen is one of the slickest shows I've seen in a long time. It's shot very well and its editing is on another level. One episode shows the annexed Vietnam into America, playing "Living in America" over the scene, with a Dr. Manhattan Puppet descending to the chorus "LIVING IN AMERICA" with the title card "Religious Awe" on screen. That shit is on another level.
Personally, I flat out loved the show and give it a 9/10. The point off was because I thought the ending didn't fit the tone of the rest of the show.

It's probably also a function of streaming vs broadcast: new GoT or Mad Men episodes were highly anticipated events that everyone talked about when they happened. Streaming shows are designed for binge watching and so don't have those weeks of anticipation.
