All those "bringing back long gone series" entries in their release schedule will be cheapo projecs like the recently announced Ghosts n Goblins, I hope you all now that and aren't expecting a big triple A fucking Final Fight game or anything.

You'd be surprised at how modest a name like Mega Man has sold. Not sure how the remakes and such count for it, but any Mega Man game with enough of a marketing push and good word of mouth could easily hit that goal. 2 mil I think.

Yeah, if you discount BN4, MM11 is the best-selling Mega Man title since MM2 in the 80's.
If it's a fighting game crossover between all the different series, I could see it getting past the 2 million mark.

After MVCI and the Avengers fiasco no game devs would want to touch marvel properties unless is for mobile devices. DC is different since WB has its own gaming division but Gotham Knights look like a disaster coming.

Insomniac Spidey and MUA3 were alright.

supposedly, Nintendo and Team Ninja were real insistent with the X-Men, same with Seth Killian and MvC3. I guess with this and Fortnite emphasizing those sides of Marvel, we should be getting those characters back in more stuff.

I'm glad that with the new F4 movie coming out they finally took that stick out of their ass, but goddamn, it feels like an entire lost generation of Marvel media. Maybe this time we'll have a hammy Doom that feels fun to watch instead of whatever the hell we've been dealing with up to this point. I can't see Fant4stic doing a foot-foot dive corner kill combo into blender Level 3, that's for sure.

It should have reached them by now that only people with memories of the first Marvel crossover fighting games would touch another MvC.

What about Darkstalkers? Now that the GnG franchise is showing life again thats the last thing I dream of.

that's probably second priority, maybe someday but he only tangentially worked on that series.
