Home Alone = My poor little angel (Latin America)
The worst translations of movies and series from your country/region
>My poor little angel
lmao what kind of garbage country would translate it to that ?
Spaniard tier translation
That translation is so weird
Here poor is synonymous with wretched and little angel because he's a child, he is innocent, btw it's a bad translation but it makes sense
Holy shit I've heard of this. I lost my shit when I heard that hahaha
In German it's called "Kevin - Allein zu Haus", so "Kevin - alone at home". The second movie was called "Kevin - Allein in New York". I think that's even better than the English was cause "Home Alone 2" didn't really make sense for the second movie.
There's a few weird one's though. I can't remember much now, but "Zootopia" was called "Zoomania" in German because of copyright issues or something.
In Brazil we call that movie "Esqueceram de Mim", which means "They forgot me".
Is it successor of Poor Little White Guy?
I didn't know that "movie", how did you translate Home Alone?
That's so sad
"The sixth sense" was literally translated as "He is a ghost" in China, completely ruining the movie.
The Godfather here is The Big Powerful Boss
It was dubbed "Don Makaulin y los chorros" in Spain
In french it's called: "Mom, I missed the plane."
China have a lot of crazy translations
>Kevin - alone at home
>Kevin - alone in New York
brother :)
>It's real
No way..
Hoomu Aroon (Home Alone)
Wrong it's The Big Chief
shark tale - underwater chaps
over the hedge - forest chaps
This has been around for years but I'm not sure how real it is
Dutch tier words, or is that the original name pronuntiated in japanese?
The Powerful Big Chief
Is Brando an indio?
>I think that's even better than the English was cause "Home Alone 2" didn't really make sense for the second movie.
To be fair it did have the subtitle "Lost in New York."
Jomon
cute
>The Truman show=Story of a life
>Shallow Hal= Blind love
>The Shawshank Redemption= Dreams of freedom
any title that has an English proper name in it gets butchered. I think it's because they think Latinos are too retarded to remember/pronounce them (and they're right)
>Cars= Cars: an adventure on wheels
>A bug's life= Bugs: a miniature adventure
>Frozen= Frozen: a frozen adventure
>Up=Up: an adventure of height
this one is hilariously predictable and repetitive. I'm shocked they didn't call Toy Story "Toy Story: a toy adventure"
would "solo en casa" not work?
maybe they thought it would get confusing since "solo" means "alone", "only" and "just"
>animated movie
>character is a smug dodgy asshole
>it has an argentinian accent in the Mexican dub
why are you like this mexico
