Did you study hard to gent into better university?
Did it make you happy?
Did you study hard to gent into better university?
I was a shitty student in high school and went to community college then an above average university for undergraduate.
Now I am at an elite university for graduate school and it feels no different. Elite schools are overrated.
Elite schools bring you a great job, right?
in holland this doesnt exist
every uni is roughly the same and as easy to get into
I went to two universities, the first one was a really tryhard one, among the best in the country. I didn't particularly enjoy that, the campus was shit, people were studying 24/7 and everyone was really tense. The second one I went to was pretty enjoyable, it was a pretty low end university, but the campus was great, the people were chils and friendly, I made lots of pals there.
I was planning trying to do masters from Stanford so studied hard and got 3.95/4 gpa in bachelors, but then I decided to juts get a job. I am now planning to do a mba later in life
You're not guaranteed anything. I think it depends more on the person rather than the school. And for the person it means their personality, work ethic, etc.
i got accepted into a pretty good university in the UK, everything was perfect for me, i studied hard, sold my smartphone and did nothing but eat sleep study throughout the day
now here's where it went downhill, my dad died and my step mom ran away with his money, i had no money to go to the uni abroad let alone afford the fees and had no one to give me advice on what to do
ended up going to some shitty third grade college where everyone is an asshole to each other
at least i have a cutie gf who's been with me since high school and for the past 4 years who's supported me in every dark corner so its going well
I did and I regret it.
As long as it's generally rated "good", your university doesn't matter.
A friend of mine went to go study at Windesheim in your country, is it a good school? He had shitty grades
other user here,
no, its not good. It isn't even considered an university
Not surprised that much? Just shocked its so low. The education system here is very difficult, even more than China, Japan or Korea. To sum up why its so bad.
-Tons of outdated or wrong information
-Unless you're rich, your entire future depends on your scores in the national high school examination, which means you've lost your only chance of getting out of poverty
-Comparison between relatives, neighbours, etc. Everyone compares you with people better than you. Eg, "look at X's son, he's so much better than you" done by parents or schools.
-The syllabus of the national high school exam is fucking tough. You have to REMEMBER EVERYTHING. And I say heavily when I say REMEMBER. You have to remember every formula, you can't LEARN, you need to remember every fucking thing. Its so bad you need to complete the syllabus of your entire semester in half the semester so you can dedicate the other half in remembering the entire thing you've learnt.
-Indian parents in general are terrible and assholes. If you're not a doctor or an engineer, you're a fucking liability to the society infront of them.
if i didn't have my lovely girlfriend who i'll marry one day, i'll probably have killed myself before already.
Damn, indiabro. That's sad and your step mom is a piece of shit. Hope things work out for you in the end.
never heard of it, thats not a university thats for sure
might be a community college type thing
You're a cool guy in my book.
Best of luck.
> -Indian parents in general are terrible and assholes
Can confirm this and hence left the country. If you don't study or make money, they will treat you like shit, taunt you, and make you realize that you are worthless adn shouldn't have existed. Fuck them
I've always wondered why there's so many engineering videos made by Indians lmao
Your university doesn't matter.
Your course does.
Yes i did study hard to get into the course i wanted, i couldn't care less about the university other than being closest possible to home.
Kill your step mum.
>Windesheim
It's not a university but hbo (university of applied science). It's a weird system we have here. The big difference is that uni is more about research and science and hbo is more practical related. Henche applied science.
I dropped out
I pray for you user
This is kind of a meme. In my experience, top 25 schools do leave the door open to get high end jobs while less schools basically close that door but by no means do they really get you through the door. In fact, most of the people who end up in those jobs would probably end up in them regardless of what school they went to.
i barely completed highschool
now im in medschool
and im still fucking lazy
Yes. No.
I couldn't get in because I'm not a nigger
Dude exact same thing happened to me
I think elite schools just stay on top of the list because they only let the smartest or hardest working kids in, therefore their alumni go on to be successful. They have no real hand in making their students successful. It's just a club for smart or hard working people.
I did and prestige is a fucking meme, give it a year and all smugness is gone
I think a lot of people underestimate how important social networking is in landing a good job even if you go to an ivy.
You can go to any university you want here.
Imagine claiming to live in a free country while not being able to chose the university of your choice kek
>this retard
20% of Harvard degree are given to not-Jew whites lol
