The Government of the State of Pará, Brazil, claims to have bought Chinese respirators because they are cheaper than the American equivalent (reference values: China 54 000, USA 138 000). However, the respirators arrived with such a defect that they cannot be used, they came with a factory defect.

How com laptop market hasn’t fallen to monopoly like smartphone market?
The reason is up to you, but if you could have a Mercedes-Benz from China for half the price of a German, would you buy it?
in October 2019 the Xiaomi founder Lei Jun said in an interview with a Spanish technology magazine they were planning to become the number 1 smartphone vendor in Spain, he said it was gonna take around 3 years, this week some figures said that by the end of the first quarter of 2020 Xiaomi was ahead of all other brands already

I do not trust _any_ brand unless it's some boutique startup made by stallman acolytes.
I have a korean laptop though.
Why? Buy an Apple then.
they all spy on you anyway, prefer yanks to chinks
yanks spy on you as well
>Do you trust Chinese brands?
Not really, but don't really trust any brands either.
>Do you own Chinese items or do you generally try to avoid them?
Would like to, but don't have enough shekels to buy the "high-quality" shit made by Euros, Japs, Koreans or mutts. My current phone f.e. is years old that I bought because it was cheap and being somewhat good quality. I know its Chinese and that I can't really know if some info is going to Guangdong or whatnot, but won't spend hundreds or more dollaridoes for a fucking phone.
My TV, laptop and phone are all samsung
Based koreans
that's why he said "But thats just how it is"
Meh, it's not like they can lower your social score. At most you'll get ads directed at you which you can and should block anyway.
I trust them no less than American brands.
I eat taiwan mochi and pray on an Asus. I also help liberate HK by buying Acer! Die river crabs! Grass mud horse will prevail!
Yes, I trust Lenovo ThinkPads that were built at least 8+ years ago.
>Do you trust Chinese brands?

>Do you trust Chinese brands?

>Do you own Chinese items?

>Do you generally try to avoid them?
neutral
even my wallet is Chinese
Define trust. I trust that a Lenovo computer will function ok, but I do not trust that they are not spying on me/recording my data.
I hope you don't run Windows.
I have a xiaomi phone.... I dont care if they spy on me... What are they going to do?
I don't.
I used to use HTC phones, but then I tried a samsung and I think I will keep using samsung.
