This provoked the others to start exchanging fists and 7 Chinese and 4 Indians got hospitalised before senior forces were called from both sides to stop.
This is nothing compared to what goes on the India-Pakistan border. Soldiers actually kill each other in the fights there.

Probably, China was in poor condition during and before ww2 having being partially occupied by japan before ww2 even officially started. The one thing they did contribute was tying up Japanese forces in mainland China so that they could not be deployed against the the allies or the Soviet Union.
