where did it all go wrong?

My aunt is a school teacher in the GTA. She used to work in what she described as an "underprivileged school" in Toronto, which probably just meant all the students were little brown kids. Then she got tenure and was moved to a white school in the suburbs. She bitches about it every time I see her, whining about how her new school pays better and has better amenities but "it isn't diverse enough" for her and she misses the "culture" of the last school.

Im white and live in a majority asian city and the WMAF memes on Zig Forums aren't true.

Really for most people. My experience with it is that recent immigrants generally stick to their own enclaves, and don't intermix.

I asked her about it at length once and her explanation was that she felt she was making more of a difference in the immigrant school. I think internally she doesn't really consider the brown kids to be Canadian, at least not in the same way as the kids from the richer school. So she sort of views the richer school as "work", and the poorer, immigrant school as something more like a charity, where she's lifting up the rest of the world. Her and her husband are both super socially liberal union people. Her husband is actually a professor at the same university as Jordan Peterson, the U of T. I asked him about Peterson once he just said, "Ya, that cook" and tried to veer off the conversation to something else.

You should confront her and ask her what she means by that and ask her what positives does diversity bring that has not hing to do with food. Also ask her if she had any female students that had female circumcision and if that's one of the benefits of diversity.

My High School was ~20% Filipino but had negligible amounts of any other minority, literally two Natives in a student body of over 2,000 in a city that's almost quarter Native. All the Filipinos went to that one school because it was the Catholic school in the city with the best reputation and most amenities, all the other High Schools were at least ~80-90% white (except one, the school you got sent to if you were suspended too many times, which was majority Native).

They aren't. Immigrants in Canada from India or China or the Philippines largely abide by the law and contribute to the economy. Purely from a money perspective, they're a social good for the country. The personal impact on my life isn't the point, though. Images like this demonstrate the demographic replacement of white people in Canada. It's not a matter of my personal life being affected, it's a matter of the category of people I belong to being diminished and superseded in my own country.
