What is the poor person alcoholic beverage in your country ?

From my experience here it's old English

Cheap strong beer, cheap wine

Smirnoff

...

Really ???

I wouldn't consider that a poor persons drink. Our poor persons vodka is polar ice, one of the nastiest rating vodkas you will ever drink

Special brew is also known as tramp juice/tramp central heading. I was truly flabbergasted when I saw it on draught in Milan

Cheap fruit wine, either made from apples or cherries.

Both of those are poor vodkas.

The only time I drank Olde English was playing Edward 40 Hands in university, you would duct-tape one of those to each hand and race others to finish them.

I have the same with beers like Bavaria, it's by no means a hobo brand but it's mainly known for being cheap beer here popular among students. Then you go abroad and it's sold right next to say Heineken and Budweiser in some fancy beach club.

Smirnoff is fucking abhorrent, it is priced as low-mid tier but it is fit only for the least discerning bomž. Even the vodka you can buy in those plastic containers with the foil lid (like they serve juice/water on airlines) is better quality.

I would buy old English in uni all the time because of how cheap it was. Me and my roommates would drink brass monkey all the time when we were broke

What is this ?

I have never seen alchool packaged in a soda bottle before

Well it is the cheapest beer on ocado (online supermarket) @£1 for 0,5L

artisanal cachaça
but if you're hobo tier then even ethanol from the gas station will do

Usually Old E, Steel Reserve or King Cobra are the go to's for the local wino population. For harder stuff it's usually Beefeater, Popov or taaka, and sometimes the occasional bottle of Jack.

Don't forget this, every redneck in Canada and America drinks this

I often have it at home, it's just affordable and as far as pisswater goes has very neutral taste so who cares.
Though somehow in Malta and according to posters on here Italy too you can get it in normal establishments as it's seen as a relatively fancy foreign beer there.
>not 8.6% extreme

Beggar-tier.

even average people don't drink IPA here cuz it's not popular here. can you believe it?

These aren't even sold in the Netherlands. They're unironically mainly exported to countries with rampant alcoholism

Tastes like ass but get's you fucked in no time. The alcoholics choice of beer.

People don't drink IPA here because it's 2020 and no longer 2015.

Finkbräu and other beers from LIDL

Tried this once, tasted like pain and death. Would not recommend unless you absolutely want to get shitfaced drunk.

i fucking hate having the beer limit capped at 12% here

then what kind of beer are you guys drinking? hazy IPA?

I want to be pissed off alone at home now

Belgian types of beers like triples, blondes and quadruples are now popular.

Buckfast is something of a cultural icon in scotland and its fucking disgusting. Its a leftover from the 80's and 90's when scotland, particulary glasgow was a slav tier thirdie state.

Its what highschool kids drink. Seeing anyone over 20 with this makes me cringe internally.
