The Average Brit saw an 80% increase In disposable income in the 1980s, home ownership increased from 55% to 67%, The UK was often one of the fastest growing major economies in the world during the late 80s, Inflation was cut by 2/3rds, and unlike Reagan in the US she actually balanced the budget a few times and did not max out the governments credit cards.
Overall, she is perhaps one of the best PMs Britain has ever had. I wish we had more strong minded leaders like her in this day and age
