All those Cuban doctors are basically enslaved to the state. They get sent overseas whether they want to or not
bbc.co.uk
>Cuba has long been renowned for its medical diplomacy - thousands of its doctors work in healthcare missions around the world, earning the country billions of dollars in cash. But according to a new report, some of the doctors themselves say conditions can be nightmarish - controlled by minders, subject to a curfew and posted to extremely dangerous places, James Badcock reports
It all changed when the _______ nation attacked.
lads
Went to Prague last year and something I realise about the Czechs is, they never stop fucking going on about how they used to be communist until 30 years ago.
I get it, you used to get free houses and you couldn't get fired from your job, waaaaah. It's been 30 years of capitalism now, you shouldn't have any problems anymore.

Capitalism is the best system.
You're just seething because you got the shortest end of the stick

Sekiro Gear Solid
Went to the Railway museum in York once. Was alright. Got a lot of trains. A lot of trains.
No the opposite, it's pretty much their national identity to cry about communism even though it's long gone.
moved to london just before the lockdown, was ready to come out as a social butterfly and start my exciting city life, now i'm trapped in a flatshare with 5 people
GOOD LAD
Any with big guns?
We know what 190 looks like, why would we want such an image?
Words directly from Cuban doctor's mouths is capitalist propaganda?

Went to Hungary, they said the same thing. The older generations seem to be conflicted about whether is was better or worse. They all certainly believe it had its merits.
I wonder if all the people in flatshares are shagging each other out of desperation
Are you at least friends with them? If you can't make friends in an enclosed environment like a flatshare under lockdown, you have no hope of succeeding in the London social scene
better than being alone in a flat for months on end
baste
Why are they so *allegedly* evil?*
>Capitalism is the best system.
The BBC is the mouthpiece of the British bourgeoisie, it's about as objective as Radio Svoboda or the Volkischer Beobachter.
what's with all the tankie bastards this morning?
/brit/ is so much more chilled midday compared to 6ish. Must be the lack of yanks and tryhards.

I'm self made but thanks for your concern
must have been a mistranslation
>Words directly from Cuban doctor's mouths is capitalist propaganda?
Yup. They only speak to dissidents. Anti revolutionaries who will say whatever the lackeys if Washington want to hear.
iirc wasn't the small window to prevent drivers being lulled to sleep by the tunnel lights?
hahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
How do london flatshares work, if rent is 1 grand a month is that split up or does everyone pay 1 grand?
Lads would you watch a Netflix series

>Yup.
Hungary is a bit more ostalgique than Czechia

t. lives alone in a flat
Dont see the point of moving to the city or even a nice town. All i do is toil then watch films and play games and post here anyway. Could be living in a tin shack for all i care.
Do Americans really though?
>english man moves to Czech republic cause can't afford rents in London

I'm in London on my own and I haven't had a proper chat with a real person for months. Went to the cafe that reopened near my flat the other day and practically had to learn how to speak again on the spot and it was extremely awkward just feeling my mouth moving like that again.
>moved to a london flatshare
The British working class has awoken.
I'm not a native Czech so I won't speak too much on their behalf, but imagine if Soviet tanks rolled in and then occupied you for decades. And 30 years is not long ago at all, it's very much recent.
The Velvet revolution was bloodless which is unfathomably based.

don't understand how sales assistants and other low wage workers live in london
better than being stuck with dadberg the entire lockdown trust me
Reckon a lot of the bad stuff that went on like getting knackered by the secret police for calling the leader a cunt or not having a total abundance of everything at the shops probably doesn't seem like such a big deal when you're old but needing to somehow pay for food and shelter. Or maybe it was just never as big of a deal as we think it was.
leftypol's mum put too much sugar on his cornflakes
Hungary was a lot better during its socialist period.
